- Objective lens diameter (mm) – lenses with a diameter of 40-42 mm offer versatile use. Larger diameters (50 mm and above) are recommended for observations in low light conditions, such as astronomical observations or twilight surveillance.
- Type of prism – Roof prism features a compact design and lightweight, making it an ideal choice for tourists. Porro prism provides higher image quality at a lower price, making it excellent for wildlife observation.
- Water resistance – binoculars that are waterproof are recommended for use in harsh weather conditions. Models filled with nitrogen effectively prevent lens internal fogging.
