Binoculars from the Bushnell Spectator Sport series are designed with tenfold magnification and a 50 mm diameter lens. This model uses high-quality Bak-4 optical glass. The lenses are equipped with Multi-Coated anti-reflective coatings, which make the image observed through the binoculars clear and bright.
Focus-Free System
The Focus-Free optical system used in the Spectator Sport binoculars is characterised by exceptional depth of field. It allows for observation without the need for focus adjustment. As a result, the binoculars do not have a central knob or focusing knobs on the eyepieces.
This technology is particularly valued in situations where the distance to the observed object changes dynamically, for example, when observing fast-moving animals or sporting events. However, it should be noted that binoculars with a Focus-Free system are not suitable for close-up observation, and the minimum focusing distance depends individually on the accommodation capabilities of the eyes.
IPX4 standard, binocular customisation
Bushnell Spectator Sport meets the IPX4 waterproofing standard. The body is filled with nitrogen, which prevents the optics from fogging from the inside. The binoculars are therefore suitable for use in humid climatic conditions and changing temperatures.
The appearance of the binoculars can be customised with colourful accessories. The set includes four sets of interchangeable plates (in white, blue, black and red).

BaK-4
BaK-4 are high-end prisms made of Barium Crown glass, containing barium oxide. They are used in advanced optics such as binoculars, telescopes and finders, where image quality is crucial. Great binoculars, provide a lot of magnification and a clear image. They work well both during hikes and at the shooting range – they allow comfortable observation of the target without needing to approach, and the bullet marks are easily visible. The product meets the requirements and can be confidently recommended.

The Bushnell 10x50 is of much better quality than expected. The promised 10x magnification is actually provided, unlike many other brands that only offer 7x instead of 10x. As I am neither a hunter nor a soldier, I am particularly pleased that these binoculars do not have a built-in rangefinder or compass, as these features disturb me during observation. It’s really great that you don't have to focus. With the naked eye, I can see a sharp image from about 30 metres, though the range reduces to about 15 metres if I look into the lower third of the lens. Even in complete darkness, when you can't see anything with the naked eye, it still provides a visible image. However, miracles should not be expected; it is not a night vision device. The bright advertising lights distort the image a bit, but this can be improved by holding the field of view slightly below the centre of the image. My eyesight is not the best anymore, but I have noticed that my vision improves with regular use. I believe this is because you have to focus within the three-dimensional image using your own eyes with this telescope. I think it trains my eyes, although I don't know if the experts at Valkami would confirm this. In any case, I always have to adjust my old telescopes closer to the zero position, but even without the telescope, I notice that I now see equally well and better with both eyes. Compared to my old telescopes, it's like switching from a Mercedes with automatic transmission to an old Trabant – that's how comfortable it is. I think it can easily compete with Steiner telescopes, which cost at least three times as much, and the fact that you don’t need to focus is even better. I can warmly recommend it not only to adults, but also to children who still find it difficult to achieve the right image sharpness. Best regards, Tibor
