I really recommend this pasta with cheese sauce. The portion is rather medium-sized, but the dish is quite high in calories, quite filling, and above all tastes great :)

A wholesome freeze-dried meal that’s incredibly easy to prepare. Pasta in cheese sauce is vacuum-sealed in a waterproof bag made of heat-sealed foil. LYOFOOD products are cooked before the freeze-drying process. They consist of 100% natural ingredients: no artificial additives, no added sugar, and no preservatives.
Freeze-drying
The freeze-drying process involves the vacuum dehydration of food products at extremely low temperatures (-50 deg. C). Thanks to this technology, freeze-dried food provides a wholesome, high-calorie meal that meets the high demands of extreme sports such as rock climbing, high-altitude mountaineering, sailing, and other types of summer and winter tourism. It is used by polar explorers, travellers, and competitive athletes on various types of expeditions and camps.

Tasty and filling food, great for longer trips where calories and low weight are important. For short outings of 1-2 nights I usually don't take freeze-dried meals, because despite their advantages, they also have the drawback of being quite expensive. You have to choose what's more important.

A very good solution for trips – a quick and nutritious meal. I recommend adding less water than the manufacturer suggests, then the dish has a more pronounced flavour. The shop service, as usual, was lightning fast.

I think Mexican Disk is one of my favourite dishes from Lyofood. This type of meal is very suitable for freeze-drying, because it's usually served mixed. It tastes really delicious.

I have tried many freeze-dried meals, but in my opinion, the ones from Lyofood are the tastiest. The portion is moderate in size, but filling enough to satisfy your hunger without making you feel sluggish – which is important during activities, such as in the mountains ;)
