I like Lyofood products, but the Mexican scrambled eggs are not among my favourites. Maybe it is because I have always been used to the classic version, at most with some bacon added. This Mexican variant simply does not quite suit my taste.

Millet groats cooked in coconut drink with sultanas and almonds making a great choice for a nutritious breakfast. Like all LYOFOOD products, this meal can be prepared simply and quickly.
Freeze-drying process
Freeze-drying is the process of vacuum dehydration of food at very low temperatures (approximately -50°C). Thanks to this advanced technology, freeze-dried food provides a wholesome, high-calorie meal that is perfectly balanced and meets the requirements of extreme sports practitioners such as climbing, mountaineering, sailing and various forms of qualified tourism, both in summer and winter. This type of food is often chosen by polar explorers, travellers and endurance athletes during expeditions and camps.

Although I really like Lyofood's lunch dishes, the pork in green pepper with potatoes, although tasty, turned out to be exceptionally spicy. There are really a lot of peppercorns in it, which will not be to everyone's taste. For me, there was simply too much pepper.

Chicken Tikka Masala is a tasty dish. It did not require any additional seasoning. It is mildly spicy. A 95 g portion is entirely sufficient for one meal. With higher activity during the day, there is still easily room for dessert. The packaging is handy and easy to pack into a rucksack.

I have been using Lyofood for many years and it has never let me down. The farfalle in spinach and cheese sauce were so tasty that it was hard to stop eating. The packaging is not as handy as it is for rice-based meals, but you can still fit it in somewhere. It is also sturdy enough, so there is no risk of it tearing.

I really recommend this pasta with cheese sauce. The portion is rather medium-sized, but the dish is quite high in calories, quite filling, and above all tastes great :)

Tasty and filling food, great for longer trips where calories and low weight are important. For short outings of 1-2 nights I usually don't take freeze-dried meals, because despite their advantages, they also have the drawback of being quite expensive. You have to choose what's more important.

A very good solution for trips – a quick and nutritious meal. I recommend adding less water than the manufacturer suggests, then the dish has a more pronounced flavour. The shop service, as usual, was lightning fast.

I think Mexican Disk is one of my favourite dishes from Lyofood. This type of meal is very suitable for freeze-drying, because it's usually served mixed. It tastes really delicious.
