Fjord Nansen Fredvang MID Sapphire 640 g Sleeping Bag - right
Robust sleeping bag model in Sapphire color, featuring an anatomical mummy shape, to provide a comfortable body position and allow freedom of movement during sleep. Constructed from durable Rip-Stop weave polyester, it includes a sturdy outer layer and Eko Loft Hollowfiber insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
The Fredvang sleeping bag temperatures adhere to the EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 26 C – the highest temperature at which one can sleep without experiencing overheating,
- T-comfort: 17 C – the minimum temperature that allows a woman to enjoy a comfortable night's sleep,
- T-limit: 12 C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep through the night comfortably,
- T-extreme: 1 C – the minimum temperature for survival in the bag, not advisable for regular use.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer shell crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester effectively safeguards against abrasions and damage, while also minimizing the spread of any tears. The inner lining of PoliCotton merges the softness of cotton with the resilience of polyester, providing a gentle feel and excellent ventilation. This blend makes the bag ideal for challenging trips as well as calm nights outdoors. Inside, there's a small pocket for accessories and loops for securing a thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Thermal insulation is delivered by Eko Loft Hollowfiber synthetic fleece, comprising spiral-twisted, siliconized polyester fibers. Quilting secures the outer layers, ensuring the insulation stays in place and doesn't shift. The insulation maintains its thermal properties even after being exposed to moisture, laundering, or extensive usage. It does not trigger allergic reactions, making it ideal for individuals sensitive to natural down.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper situated on the right side, enabling it to fully open from both the top and bottom, enhancing ease of use. The Anti-Bite system efficiently stops the fabric from snagging in the zipper. An internal thermal flap covers the zipper, adding extra protection. This model can be zipped together with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal insulation by enveloping the head, helping to prevent heat loss on chilly nights. Its ergonomic design boosts resistance against wind and humidity. The Duo drawcord system incorporates both elastic and strap, with the elastic around the neck allowing hand extension without needing adjustment, while the strap at the back facilitates swift tension adjustments, particularly handy during nighttime.
