Fjord Nansen Arran Quilt Sleeping Bag 270 g - Forest Green

Lightweight and easy to pack, this down sleeping bag in Forest Green is crafted for use in spring and autumn. Designed to effectively shield against the cold, it features a sturdy nylon outer layer and duck down filling to ensure dependable insulation.

Usage temperatures of the Arran Quilt sleeping bag as per EN 13537 standard:

• T-comfort: 5°C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
• T-limit: 0°C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -14°C – the minimum temperature that permits survival in the sleeping bag. Not advisable for frequent use.

The Arran model is crafted from durable 10D nylon with Rip-Stop technology, which enhances its resistance to mechanical damage. The material features a WR (Water Repellent) hydrophobic coating to guard against moisture.

The Arran Quilt is a top quilt, which means it doesn't have a hood or bottom insulation. This design reduces insulation compression, enhancing effectiveness. The down is strategically placed on the front and sides to bolster cold resistance. The filling features a 92/8 combination of duck down and feathers, offering excellent thermal insulation and breathability. With DuPont impregnation, the down takes longer to absorb moisture and dries more rapidly. A fill power of 800 cuin allows for easy compact storage. Additional insulation around the foot area boosts thermal comfort, while H-shaped baffles prevent down migration and guarantee consistent insulation.

The bag features a central zipper that permits it to be fully opened and includes the Anti-Bite system to avoid snagging. A fluorescent puller facilitates use in low-light conditions. For enhanced fit and protection against cold, a top drawcord is provided. Mounting loops secure a liner, ensuring it stays in place when you exit the sleeping bag.

Footbox featuring a drawcord allows for easy adjustments and enhanced ventilation. The lower section, or footbed, can be flattened for diverse uses, such as serving as a lightweight quilt. Elastic straps with buckles enable the bag to be fastened to a mat or mattress, providing stability without limiting movement. Inside there is a pocket for storing small accessories.

When packed, the model's compact dimensions of 24 x 17 cm and weight of just 550 g make it easy to carry without adding unnecessary bulk.

Included with the set is a practical stuff sack that safeguards the sleeping bag from dirt and damage during transport.
