Fjord Nansen Arran Quilt Sleeping Bag 270 g - Forest Green

A lightweight and compact down sleeping bag designed for spring and autumn use, providing adequate protection from the cold. It offers thermal comfort up to 5 deg. C for women (T-comfort) and 0 deg. C for men (T-limit).

The Arran model is made of 10D nylon with Rip-Stop fiber weave, which is characterized by high durability and abrasion resistance. The material has been coated with a WR (Water Repellent) water repellent layer, which provides protection against moisture penetration.

The filling is made of duck down and feathers in the proportion of 92/8, so it provides thermal comfort and is breathable, i.e. allows adequate air circulation. DuPont waterproofing increases moisture resistance, making the filling soak up water more slowly and dry faster. The 800 cuin down is characterized by a high level of compression, allowing the sleeping bag to be packed into a small size.

An additional layer of insulation has been sewn into the foot area, allowing for warmth while sleeping. The H-shaped chamber design eliminates the effect of down shifting and clumping.

The zipper, located in the central part, is open all the way and has been trimmed with the Anti-Bite system, which prevents the zipper from jamming. A drawstring at the top helps further secure the wearer on colder nights. Loops provide a way to mount the liner, so that the liner does not slip out when leaving the sleeping bag.

A footbox in the form of a bottom puller allows for easy unzipping and air circulation. Rubber straps with buckles allow you to attach the model to a mat or mattress, creating a compact but unobstructed sleeping system. Inside there is a useful pocket for valuables.

The set includes a compression sack, which makes it easy to carry the sleeping bag efficiently.

The most important indicators, with which the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are described, as a rule, are marked with values:
- T-max - the maximum temperature at which an average-built man is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up due to heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.
