The Kjolen sleeping bag's temperature ratings, as per EN 13537 standards, are as follows:

• T-comfort: 3°C – indicating the minimum temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep throughout the night,
• T-limit: -2°C – signifying the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -16°C – representing the lowest temperature where survival is feasible, though not advised for regular use.

The outer layer crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester provides excellent protection against mechanical damage and wear, while minimizing the spread of potential tears. The inner lining is made with 190T polyamide. The bottom segment is designed like a footbox to align with the natural foot position, which enhances thermal insulation in this section. Inside, there's a small pocket for storing small items and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.

Inside, the lightweight and elastic MICROfill Super-Therm insulation ensures efficient thermal insulation and high loft, thanks to its microfiber composition. The material maintains its characteristics even after numerous washes.

This model includes a two-way zipper located on the right, permitting easy access by unzipping from both the top and bottom. Even in dim light, the fluorescent puller ensures simple unzipping. With the Anti-Bite system, the fabric is safeguarded from snagging in the zipper, and an internal thermal baffle offers protection to the zipper. This bag is also compatible for connection with another model within the same series.

The 3D hood offers additional protection against the cold by enclosing the head to minimize heat loss. Its unique design also guards against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord combines both elastic and strap features: the elastic around the neck allows for quick hand extension, while the strap at the back facilitates easy adjustments, particularly useful at night.
