Mummy-style ultralight design offering a snug fit to the body and allowing freedom of motion during sleep. Constructed from durable nylon with a sturdy outer layer and insulated with duck down.
Temperature ratings and usage conditions
Svalbard sleeping bags are rated for temperature in compliance with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 0 C – the lowest temperature where a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: -6 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort for the entire night,
- T-extreme: -24 C – the lowest temperature where survival is possible. Regular use is not advised.
10D Rip-Stop nylon with Water Repellent coating
Both the outer and inner layers utilize lightweight 10D nylon constructed with Rip-Stop technology and treated with a hydrophobic WR coating to minimize moisture ingress. Inside, there is a small pocket for essentials and loops to attach an additional insulating liner.
Duck down filling, H-shaped construction
A blend of European duck down and feathers in a 92/8 ratio ensures thermal comfort. The 800 cuin loft offers high compressibility, facilitating easier packing. The down is safeguarded by a hydrophobic coating. H-shaped baffles prevent the filling from shifting and clumping. The shark fin-shaped footbox aligns with the natural position of the feet, enhancing thermal comfort and minimizing pressure. The bottom is stitched at a 70-degree angle.
Right -side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The two-way zipper located on the right side offers complete opening from both directions, ensuring easier access. A fluorescent puller enhances usability in low-light conditions. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from snagging in the zipper. A thermal flap lines the inside of the zipper for added protection. This model can be connected with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
The 3D hood provides superior protection against heat loss and harsh weather. Featuring a Duo drawcord design that combines an elastic band with a strap, it allows for quick adjustments—the elastic at the neck enables arm movement without loosening the hood, while the rear strap offers precise adjustment. The thermal collar, a down-filled tube with a drawcord located at shoulder level, prevents cold air from entering, thereby increasing thermal insulation.
Convenient transport and storage
The compact design makes it easy to transport and store. When packed, the sleeping bag is just 36 x 19 cm in size and weighs only 890 g, ensuring it is a lightweight addition to your gear.
