Temperatures and usage conditions

The Kjolen sleeping bag temperature ratings comply with EN 13537:

  • T-comfort: 3 C – this is the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
  • T-limit: -2 C – the minimum temperature a man can sleep without experiencing discomfort,
  • T-extreme: -16 C – the lowest temperature where survival is feasible. Not advised for regular use.

210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining

The exterior crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester offers excellent protection against mechanical wear and tear while minimizing the likelihood of rips spreading. The inside features a lining made of 190T polyamide. A footbox design in the bottom segment ensures a natural fit for the feet, providing improved thermal preservation in this part. There is a small pocket for storing small items and loops for securing an additional thermal liner.

MICROfill Super-Therm filling

The inside is lined with lightweight and elastic MICROfill Super-Therm insulation, delivering efficient thermal insulation and excellent loft due to its microfiber composition. The material maintains its properties even after numerous washes.

Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system

The model includes a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling it to be opened from both the top and bottom, enhancing convenience. A fluorescent puller ensures easy unzipping even in dim light. To prevent fabric snagging in the zipper, the Anti-Bite system is included, while a thermal baffle guards the zipper from the inside. This bag is compatible for attachment with another model in the same series.

Integrated hood with DUO drawcord

The 3D hood offers enhanced cold-weather protection by encasing the head and minimizing heat loss. Its distinctive shape also guards against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord integrates an elastic and a strap: the elastic around the neck allows quick hand extension, while the strap at the back facilitates easy adjustments, particularly handy at night.

Easy to carry and store

Convenient to transport and pack. When folded, the sleeping bag has dimensions of 39 x 20 cm and weighs just 1400 g, making it ideal for travel without adding much weight to your gear.

The set comes with a functional stuff sack that shields the sleeping bag during transportation and protects against dirt and damage.

    High-quality materials, very pleasant. Light and compact for an XL, does not take up much space. Works well with the Profi Liner Fjord Nansen sleeping bag liner thanks to the attachment points. I am 1.85m tall, a bit broad-shouldered, and I feel very comfortable inside, not cramped at all. Really happy with my purchase so far, we'll see how it performs in the field, but I do not doubt its efficiency.

    The sleeping bag is really good. I believe that for a man, it provides comfortable sleep at temperatures around 0°C. For slightly below-zero temperatures, I recommend additional thermal clothing. The biggest advantage of this sleeping bag is its low weight and compact size – it's light and doesn't take up much space.
