Padded Insulated Parka in Olive Drab, crafted for cold conditions, designed to provide warmth in temperatures that drop below freezing. Constructed with water-repellent Rip-Stop fabric, it features impressive thermal insulation thanks to MICROFill Super-Therm.
Temperatures and usage conditions
Hadsel sleeping bag temperature ratings based on the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -1 C - the coldest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: -8 C - the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -25 C - the minimum temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not advised for regular usage.
Polyester 210T Rip-Stop, polyamide lining
The outer shell is constructed from 210T Rip-Stop polyester, providing effective protection against abrasions and other mechanical damage while minimizing the risk of additional tearing. The interior features a lining made of 190T polyamide. The bottom section of the sleeping bag is bowl-shaped to naturally accommodate the feet, reducing unused space and enhancing heat retention in that area. Inside, there is a small pocket for convenient items and loops designed for securing an additional warming liner.
MICROFill Super-Therm insulation
The inside of the sleeping bag is lined with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, noted for its light weight and softness. Due to its unique microfibre construction, the insulation offers great flexibility and outstanding thermal insulation. Even after numerous washes, the fibers maintain their characteristics.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper located on the left side, allowing opening both from the top and bottom for easier entry and exit. The fluorescent puller makes it easier to operate the zipper in the dark. The Anti-Bite system minimizes the risk of the fabric getting caught in the zipper. The zipper is protected from the inside by a thermal strip. The model can be joined with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated cold-protection hood, DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood offers excellent protection for the head by minimizing heat loss and guarding against wind and moisture. Its unique design ensures an even more tailored fit for the user. The Duo drawcord combines both elastic and strap features – the elastic around the neck allows the hand to be extracted without any need for adjustment, while the back strap facilitates quick loosening, which proves especially beneficial during nighttime operations.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is designed for easy transport and storage. Once packed, the sleeping bag dimensions are 41 x 24 cm with a weight of merely 1900 g, allowing for hassle-free carrying without adding much to your load.
