Robust mummy-style sleeping bag designed to provide a comfortable posture and ease of movement while sleeping. Constructed from high-quality nylon, featuring a tough outer layer, and filled with duck down and feathers.
Temperature ratings and usage conditions
Sleeping bag Nordkapp temperature ratings per EN 13537 standards:
- T-comfort: -5 C – lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably overnight,
- T-limit: -11 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -25 C – minimum temperature for survival within the sleeping bag. Not advised for frequent use.
20D nylon with Water Repellent coating
Both the inner and outer layers consist of lightweight 20D nylon featuring a hydrophobic WR coating (Water Repellent). This treatment minimizes moisture absorption. Inside, there is a pocket for small accessories and loops for securing an insulating liner.
Duck down filling, H-shaped baffle construction
Superior thermal insulation and ventilation is achieved through Polish duck down 91/9. With a fill power of 700 cuin, the bag offers high compression, enabling it to be packed compactly. The H-shaped construction maintains the down in place. An anatomically designed shark-fin shaped footbox aligns with the natural foot position, minimizing pressure and boosting thermal comfort. The base of the bag is crafted at a 70 C angle.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The two-way zipper on the right side can be opened from both the top and bottom, enhancing the sleeping bag's usability. A fluorescent puller facilitates operation in low light. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from catching in the zipper. Inside, a thermal flap shields the zipper.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
The 3D hood enhances head protection and minimizes heat loss. Its design offers a barrier against wind and moisture. The DUO drawcord features a combination of elastic and tape—elastic at the neck facilitates hand movement without adjustments, while the back tape allows for rapid fitting. An internal thermal collar, shaped like a down-filled tube with a drawcord, prevents cold air entry and boosts thermal comfort.

Simple to transport and store. When folded, the sleeping bag dimensions are 36 x 19 cm with a weight of 1150 g, ensuring it can be carried easily without adding significant bulk to your gear.

It's okay. It works well at -5°C – provides comfort and warmth. I recommend the sleeping bag. The lack of a compression sack is a bit annoying, but other than that it's good.
