The durable sleeping bag comes in Olive Drab and features an anatomical mummy design, ensuring a cozy sleeping posture and ease of movement while resting. Constructed from strong Rip-Stop polyester, it includes a tough, wear-resistant exterior and is insulated with MICROFill Super-Therm.
Temperatures and usage conditions
The Kjolen sleeping bag has temperature ratings assessed by EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 3 C – the minimum temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: -2 C – the minimum temperature to ensure a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -16 C – the lowest temperature at which survival is feasible. Not advisable for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The outer layer crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester offers robust protection against mechanical damage and abrasion, while also curtailing the propagation of potential rips. Inside, it features a lining made of 190T polyamide. The bottom segment is designed with a footbox shape to align with the feet's natural position, thereby improving thermal insulation in that region. Within, you'll find a small pocket for storing accessories and loops for securing an additional thermal liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm filling
The interior features MICROfill Super-Therm insulation, which is lightweight and elastic. Its microfiber composition delivers effective thermal insulation and high loft. The material maintains its properties even after numerous washes.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
A two-way zipper on the left side enables it to open from both the top and bottom for added convenience. The fluorescent puller allows for easy unzipping even in dim lighting conditions. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from getting caught in the zipper, and a thermal baffle provides internal protection for the zipper. This bag can be connected to another model from the same series.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The 3D hood offers enhanced protection from the cold by wrapping around the head to minimize heat loss. Its unique design also guards against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord combines both an elastic band and a strap: the elastic around the neck allows for quick hand extension, while the strap at the back facilitates easy adjustments—particularly helpful at night.
