Durable sleeping bag in Blue, mummy-shaped to promote a natural body posture and facilitate unrestricted movement while sleeping. Constructed from robust nylon, it boasts a strong outer shell and is insulated with duck down and feathers.
Temperature and usage conditions
The temperature ratings for the Nordkapp sleeping bag comply with EN 13537 standards:
- T-max: 9 C – the maximum temperature where one can sleep without the risk of overheating,
- T-comfort: 0 C – the lowest temperature ensuring a woman can sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: -5 C – the coldest temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -22 C – the minimum survival temperature, not intended for regular use.
20D nylon with Water Repellent coating
Both the outer and inner layers are crafted from lightweight 20D nylon featuring WR impregnation (Water Repellent) to minimize moisture absorption. The interior includes a small pocket for tiny items and loops for attaching a thermal liner.
Duck down fill, H-shaped construction
Warmth and breathability are guaranteed by Polish duck down in a 91/9 ratio. The 700 cuin loft fill ensures excellent compression, allowing the bag to be packed into a compact form. H-shaped chambers keep the down evenly distributed. The drawcord footbox is equipped with an extra insulation layer to enhance foot warmth.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
Outfitted with a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling it to open from both the top and bottom for easy access. A fluorescent puller ensures convenient use in low-light conditions. The Anti-Bite system safeguards the fabric against getting caught in the zipper. A thermal baffle shields the zipper from the inside.
Integrated hood with cold protection, DUO drawcord
The 3D-shaped hood efficiently safeguards the head from losing heat and provides protection against wind and moisture. Featuring a Duo drawcord, it integrates both elasticity and an adjustment tape—allowing swift hand movement with the elastic, while the back tape facilitates easy loosening, which is beneficial for activities at nighttime.
