Temperatures and usage conditions
The temperature ratings of the Fredvang sleeping bag adhere to the EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 26 C – represents the maximum temperature at which you can sleep without experiencing overheating,
- T-comfort: 17 C – indicates the minimum temperature at which a woman can enjoy a comfortable night's sleep,
- T-limit: 12 C – signifies the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: 1 C – reflects the minimum temperature at which survival inside the bag is feasible. Regular use is not advised.
Rip-Stop reinforced polyester, PoliCotton lining
The outer shell crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester effectively guards against abrasion and damage, while also preventing any potential tears from spreading. The PoliCotton inner lining merges the comfort of cotton with the resilience of polyester, providing a soft feel and excellent airflow. This blend is ideal for both challenging expeditions and tranquil nights under the stars. An interior small pocket is available for storing accessories, and loops are included for securing a thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Thermal protection is ensured by Eko Loft Hollowfiber synthetic fleece, crafted from spiral-twisted, siliconized polyester fibers. The outer layers are quilted to secure the insulation and prevent it from shifting. This insulation maintains its thermal efficiency even after exposure to moisture, washing, or frequent use. It does not trigger allergic reactions and is ideal for individuals who are allergic to natural down.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the left side, enabling complete unzipping from both the top and the bottom for easier accessibility. The Anti-Bite system efficiently prevents the fabric from snagging in the zipper. Additionally, the zipper is shielded by an internal thermal flap. This model can be paired with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal protection by enveloping the head to guard against heat loss during chilly nights. Its ergonomic design improves resistance to wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord features a combination of elastic and strap—the elastic around the neck permits extending a hand without adjustment, while the strap on the back allows for swift tension tuning, especially advantageous at night.
Convenient transport and storage
When packed, it becomes a compact size of 27 x 14 cm and weighs only 640 g, allowing for easy transportation without notably adding to the weight of your gear.

Light sleeping bag, doesn’t take up much space, very well sewn. A person 178 cm tall and weighing 78 kg fits exactly. The picture shows a compression sack, but I received a regular one with a double string. Overall, I’m satisfied.
