The high upper made of velour leather is distinguished by its excellent breathability. The ankle is protected by a leather insert running from the heel to the laces. The upper is finished with a soft velour collar that wraps around the calf and minimises the risk of chafing due to contact with the stiff edge of the boot.

The heel and toe of the boots have been reinforced with an extra layer of leather and rubber over the sole, which effectively protects against bruises.
