Very good boots from every point of view. This is my opinion after a month of wear. Only one mention: you should order half a size (or even a whole size if you have wider feet) bigger than your regular size. I usually wear 43, I ordered 43, and when I put them on or sit for a long time, they fit snugly. When I start walking, they stretch and become perfect. I haven't tested them for waterproofness yet, but I can say they are warm.

I have been wearing the shoes for several months now. They look very good, although their light colour and material make them easy to get dirty and difficult to keep in perfect condition if you wear them in outdoor areas. On flat surfaces they perform excellently – they do not let water in thanks to the membrane, they stabilise and protect the foot well, and have a high, non-slip sole. However, while hiking in the mountains I noticed some drawbacks. Their hard sole did not provide enough cushioning when descending, which put more strain on the knees and feet (there was more pressure). Additionally, no other shoes have given me such blisters on mountain trails. After two days of longer hikes in the Tatras, I wouldn’t have managed a third day – luckily the trip lasted only a weekend. For these shortcomings, I’m giving a score of 4/5. The Polish ‘Gromy’ performed better in the Tatras – I completed tougher routes in them with less blistering and could hike several days in a row without problem. However, I can’t deny that the Garmonts were less slippery and provided better foot stability. You can’t have everything – it’s a trade-off.
