Very good boots from all points of view. This review is after a month of wearing them. One mention to keep in mind: you should order half a size (or even a full size if you have wider feet) bigger than you normally wear. I usually wear 43, I ordered 43, and when I put them on or sit for a long time, my foot fits perfectly inside. When I start walking, they stretch and become perfect. I haven't tested their waterproofing yet, but I can say they are warm.

I have been wearing the shoes for several months now. They look very good, although their light color and material make them easy to get dirty and difficult to keep in perfect condition if you walk with them in varied terrain. On flat surfaces, they perform excellently—they don’t soak through thanks to the membrane, stabilize and protect the foot well, and have a tall, non-slip sole. However, during mountain hikes, I noticed some drawbacks. Their stiff sole did not provide enough cushioning when descending, which increased the strain on my knees and feet (more pressure occurred). Additionally, no other shoes have caused blisters as much as these did on mountain trails. After two days of longer treks in the Tatra Mountains, I couldn't go for a third day—fortunately, the trip was only for the weekend. For these shortcomings, I give them a 4/5 rating. Polish "Gromy" shoes performed better in the Tatras—I walked tougher trails in them without significant blisters and could hike for several days in a row without issue. However, I cannot deny that the Garmonts slipped less and stabilized my foot better. You have to give up something to gain something—you can't have it all.
