Military Glasses - Tactical and Shooting Eyewear

In this category you will find many models of protective eyewear (such as tactical glasses) designed for police officers, military personnel, as well as fishermen or people involved in hobby shooting and airsoft games. Eye protection is very important, so remember to always carry safety glasses with you. While performing various jobs the eyes can be exposed to injuries. Shrapnel, impacts, sprays or hot air can permanently damage your eyesight. It is important to take precautions beforehand to be able to do your work or enjoy your hobbies safely.

Various models of glasses with clear or tinted lenses are available. When selecting glasses, it is important to pay attention to several important features. They must fit the shape of the head to be completely functional. For this purpose, a specially shaped frame is very often used, which is finished with soft foam. Many models also have adjustable temple lengths, which also allow the glasses to be adapted to the size and shape of the head. Glasses that are too large will slip off the face whereas glasses that are too small will cause uncomfortable compression. A helpful addition to ballistic glasses is an elastic strap, which ensures that the glasses stay in place around the head even during intense activity. If it is not needed, it can be detached.

Police glasses and all other eyewear should provide optimal visual clarity. The quality of the lenses used in eyewear has a great impact on the quality of the image seen. Polycarbonate is the most common lenses which is a highly damage-resistant plastic, making it ideal for eye protection. Polycarbonate also has the advantage of being lightweight making glasses comfortable to wear. The safety glasses do not distort the image seen which is very important for police and military eyewear. Many of the glasses available in our range have lenses with additional coatings that benefit their use. The most popular coating is anti-fog that prevents the lenses from fogging up. This coating allows the glasses to be used in all conditions, including rain or fog without any problems and does not impair vision. Anti-scratch is another protective coating which improves the quality of use of the glasses. This coating prevents the lenses from being scratched that is very helpful when working in a place where you are at risk of your eyesight being damaged by various types of debris. Anti-scratch coating will also perform well during shooting practice or airsoft games, as there is the possibility of scratching the glasses, which can affect the quality of the lens. The anti-scratch coating on military glasses can be used in extreme conditions and will retain their properties.

An important consideration in tactical eyewear is the field of vision. We offer many models of glasses that are designed in such a way that they do not restrict the field of vision. Ballistic eyewear with a frameless design around the lenses performs this task best. These glasses divide the field of vision into two zones: active and passive. However, this does not change the fact that visual acuity is maintained at the same level in each of these zones.

We also have a wide range of fishing eyewear. For outdoor activities, sunglasses or glasses equipped with lenses that can enhance colours and contrasts using special technologies are perfect. In addition, you can see more detail in such glasses. Fishing glasses and many other models of sunglasses are equipped with lenses that provide protection against harmful UV radiation. MILITARY.EU shop has a wide selection of glasses made of high-quality materials, where every customer can find a model of glasses that will satisfy the requirements.
