The shoes are generally comfortable, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say that they are completely waterproof – after a walk on wet grass, my feet were damp. I’m not sure where the membrane that’s supposed to prevent water ingress is located. After a year of use, the insole wore out. I have an old pair of Salewas that are 9 years old and still don’t let water in.

The shoes are comfortable and fit the foot well. During service, I spent half the day in the rain and my feet remained dry. The ankle is properly reinforced. One of the biggest advantages is the thermal comfort – with properly chosen socks, the foot doesn't get sweaty and in colder days it doesn't freeze. I honestly recommend them.

After six months of use, the shoes stopped being waterproof, despite using LOWA impregnators. My previous model lasted 3 years before they came apart—and although they also leaked, it wasn’t as fast.

Perfect for both marches and tactical training. They are light, comfortable, and a great fit. My feet don't sweat, and even after many hours of marching I had no blisters or sores.
