Before buying, I didn't quite understand why so many people choose these shoes, but once I bought them myself, I understood the phenomenon. The shoes are extremely comfortable and lightweight; after a whole day of walking, my feet don't feel tired at all. On warm days, I also feel a difference compared to other models – my feet sweat less, which greatly increases wearing comfort. I highly recommend this product.

Lowa footwear is an excellent choice for those seeking durable and lightweight tactical footwear, suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities.
Suede leather and Cordura
The use of durable suede leather and breathable Cordura fabric guarantees longevity and comfort.

For stability on challenging terrain, the Lowa X-TRAC Military cushioned rubber outsole with deep treads is used. The Slip Resistance technology prevents slipping on wet and slippery surfaces, making these boots perfect for uneven grounds.
The Lowa Monowrap midsole provides additional support, stabilizing the foot and protecting it from impacts, increasing comfort during extended wear and reducing the risk of injury.
Ankle protection and additional foot support
The ankle support system with a soft collar effectively prevents injuries, and additional reinforcements around the toes and heels, combined with the molded rubber outsole layer, offer extra protection in critical areas.

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
X-Trac Military is a special type of outsole, which, thanks to its design and rubber construction, features anti-slip properties. It provides protection against slipping on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, while maintaining adequate grip.
Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. The sole form absorbs shock and supports the natural movement of the foot when walking.
Slip Resistance is a technology used in the shoe's sole, which is highly slip-resistant thanks to its special design and rubber compound. It provides slip protection on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, as well as traction on varied surfaces.

Last year I bought Zephirs and I'm convinced that with future purchases I will choose them again. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and let air through very well. However, you need to take regular care of the leather to avoid drying it out.

This is the most comfortable high footwear I have ever worn. I added silicone insoles from Decathlon and I am very satisfied. Even on warm days it's clear that my feet dry well.
-
When I received my shoes, just opening the box I was already very satisfied, and when I tried them on, they were very comfortable and they go perfectly with camouflage outfits like MultiCam or Woodland for example. I've tested them for a few days in the field and they hold up very well. Now we'll see with time what happens, but I have confidence. I highly recommend these shoes.

I started to use this model in 2012, since then i had 3 pairs. I finaly found them here for a good price. So i use them at my job. Quality is very high, very comfortable shoes. I recomend them.

These are my first Lowa brand shoes. They are very well made and extremely comfortable. I have already worn them twice during outings to the forest and they performed excellently. For cleaning, I also used Lowa impregnation. I am very satisfied.

This is already the next pair of this model that I am buying, because after more than three years of intensive use in the field – in dust, mud, water, and snow – the sole of my previous shoes started to come slightly unglued, and a crack appeared at the typical flex point. I don't understand where other users have issues with cracking after just a month. If you take proper care of the shoes and use the right cleaning products immediately after returning, there shouldn't be any problems. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

The second pair of "Zefir" in Ranger Green looks awesome, just the right, masculine shade. The main reason why it's worth getting the MK2 is that they finally redesigned the sole, and now it no longer slips on wet asphalt or tiles like the old version. It's also become more convenient to lace up. The Gore-Tex membrane holds up perfectly; puddles and wet grass are no problem at all. As for comfort—it's as always with Lowa: you put them on and go, no need to break them in or shred your feet until they bleed. They hold the ankle firmly, and after a whole day on your feet, there is zero fatigue. They're absolutely worth every penny.

The shoes are of great quality, very comfortable, and made of solid materials. Wearing them is a pure pleasure. They are perfect for any hike, expedition, or special task. I definitely recommend them.

There’s no denying it: these boots are well known to anyone interested in military gear. I use them every day for work, and I’ve tested them in really tough conditions—they performed great. I've had them since November 2025 and so far everything works flawlessly—I haven’t had any issues with them. The only drawback is they run small—I usually wear 44/44.5, but here I had to choose 46 and they fit perfectly. It was enough to check the size chart. Highly recommended.

Overall, the shoes are solid and comfortable. They are carefully made, and after running about 40 km I see one drawback: the sole is quite hard. At this price, the comfort could be greater.

Boots for special forces, that should say it all. First three-hour hike went without any problems. For me, they've been super comfortable, sturdy, and very high-quality from the start. I'm extremely satisfied.

My first pair of Lowa shoes, bought in 2020, lasted me 4 years. I was impressed with their durability and comfort, so in November 2024 I bought another pair. Unfortunately, after 14 months of use, the sole started to come off, even though the shoes were not heavily used and I didn't wear them in difficult conditions. In June 2025 I bought another pair of Lowa shoes, this time for city use, mainly for walking around town; I didn't even wear them outside the city. In April 2026 I had to file a complaint due to a crack in the upper at the bend. I rate the complaint process at Militaria.pl very highly 👍. Unfortunately, the durability of Lowa shoes is disappointing, especially at a price of over 800 PLN – I would expect better quality.

After the first walk, the shoes feel comfortable. I will see how they perform during longer wear and more difficult routes in demanding conditions.

I just started to use mine. It is very comfortable, although it took some time to get use to it. Previously i used only hi boots, not mid ones. The size chart is a big help, maybe it could be useful if it would contains not just the length, but the wide of the shoe insert as well.
