Lowa Zephyr GTX MID MK2 Boots - Black

The black Lowa footwear is the perfect choice for those looking for durable and lightweight tactical footwear that is suitable for both urban and outdoor activities.

Suede leather and Cordura

The use of durable suede leather and breathable Cordura fabric guarantees longevity and comfort.

Breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX membrane

Thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane, the boots are completely waterproof while effectively wicking away moisture. This advanced technology keeps your feet dry even in difficult weather conditions, making the boots ideal for changing weather conditions.

An interchangeable insole helps to keep the inside of the shoe dry.

Lowa X-TRAC Military sole, slip protection

The cushioned Lowa X-TRAC Military rubber sole with deep tread is used to ensure stability on demanding terrain. The Slip Resistance technology protects against slipping on wet and slippery surfaces, making the boots ideal for uneven ground.

The Lowa Monowrap midsole provides additional support, stabilising the foot and protecting it from impact, which increases wearing comfort over a long period of time, reducing the risk of injury.

Ankle protection and additional foot support

The ankle support system with soft collar effectively protects against injuries, and additional reinforcements around the toes and heel, combined with a rubber sole, offer extra protection in critical areas.

Quick lacing and durable eyelets

Low-profile metal eyelets allow for quick and convenient lacing, making it easier to use in dynamic conditions.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

Gore-Tex Membrane feature
Gore-Tex Membrane

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.

X-Trac Military Sole feature
X-Trac Military Sole

X-Trac Military is a special type of outsole, which, thanks to its design and rubber construction, features anti-slip properties. It provides protection against slipping on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, while maintaining adequate grip.

Monowrap Sole feature
Monowrap Sole

Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. The sole form absorbs shock and supports the natural movement of the foot when walking.

Slip Resistance feature
Slip Resistance

Slip Resistance is a technology used in the shoe's sole, which is highly slip-resistant thanks to its special design and rubber compound. It provides slip protection on slippery, wet and oily surfaces, as well as traction on varied surfaces.

I rate these shoes very highly. They are comfortable, sturdy, and carefully made, and their design protects the foot well. They provide good grip and do not slip easily even on uneven ground. After several weeks of wear, they still look very good. At this price, they are truly excellent value.

The boots are very sturdy and are perfect for the outdoors, mountains, as well as for tactical activities and on the shooting range. So far, I haven’t noticed any flaws or issues. Especially on warmer days, they are more comfortable than other models.

I am very satisfied with my purchase – the shoes pleasantly surprised me. During my first trip to Tarnica, where I covered 12.5 km with my daughter over mountainous, rocky, and slightly muddy terrain at 26 degrees Celsius, the shoes performed excellently. Even though they were new, I didn’t experience any blisters or chafing, and my feet stayed dry. The shoes fit the foot perfectly, stabilise the ankle well, and provide very good grip. Highly recommended!

Before buying, I didn't quite understand why so many people choose these shoes, but only after I bought them myself did I understand the phenomenon. The shoes are extremely comfortable and lightweight; after a whole day of walking my feet don't feel tired at all. On warm days I also feel the difference compared to other models – my feet sweat less, which greatly increases wearing comfort. I highly recommend this product.

I spent a long time choosing tactical boots for bushcraft and long hikes in tough terrain. In the end, I chose the Zephyrs. In my opinion, these are very well-made and fairly lightweight boots. The dual lacing works brilliantly. The only thing I would criticise is the particular shape of the boot... I don’t have a wide foot or a high instep, yet the left and right boot don’t fit me the same way — it’s a bit odd, I’ve experienced that for the first time. I definitely recommend trying several sizes (I struggled quite a bit here... I’m usually a 7.5, and here I ended up choosing an 8). The boot doesn’t stretch much... lower down it has a very stiff shell that doesn’t give much. I use them with a Sidas 3D Outdoor insole — superb for walking, but even after I completely sanded the insole down, it’s still fairly hard and a bit rough, which isn’t exactly ideal for the lifespan of the GTX membrane (if you want to replace the original insole, you might want to consider a softer option). I’ve done about 100 km in hot weather in these boots so far, and I’m very satisfied. The boots still fit the same, and they don’t need breaking in. They feel sturdy and, for tactical boots, they’re quite comfortable. Just for reference: I also tried the Merrell Moab 3 Tactical and the Salomon Quest 4M GTX Force 2... the Zephyrs came out on top for me.

Really good boots overall. I went half a size up, which works perfectly with my thicker merino wool hiking socks. I’ve already worn them on several outdoor hikes and they have been very comfortable and supportive. On one hike, I crossed a shallow stream where the water level came completely over the lower part of the boots, but the waterproofing performed extremely well and no water got inside. Very happy with the quality, comfort and waterproof performance. Highly recommended.

I got these to replace my Salomons, and the difference is noticeable. With proper lacing, they’re very comfortable over long distances. In the mountains and in the woods, the Lowa performed excellently. No blisters during break-in; the main thing is to choose good socks. There’s no odour even after a couple of days of wearing them without taking them off. I went half a size up, nothing sloshes around, and my feet feel comfortable. Overall, excellent boots, I recommend them.

It makes a great first impression straight away: high-quality, sturdy, and well thought out. But it’s also heavy. It’s definitely a great choice for more intensive outdoor use in rough terrain and in various weather conditions, and I’m looking forward to using it extensively.

    Size: 42,5

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made lately. Size 42.5 is just right for a foot length of 28.5 cm. Comfortable shoes, they don’t pinch anywhere. Surprisingly OK even in higher temperatures of 35+ degrees. Perfect two-stage lacing — first just the lower shoe, then the ankle. I don’t get the impression that the laces are getting excessively damaged. I wear them almost daily for walking the dog (concrete/asphalt/grass) and at a dynamic shooting range (sand, mud). I’ll see how long the sole lasts; with this kind of wear, Vibram usually lasts a year at most.

Previously, I had only seen these shoes on other people, but now I was able to assess their quality myself. I must admit that they are stylish, comfortable and well made. I definitely recommend them :).

Everything meets expectations: the right size, great quality, comfort, good ankle support, stability, cushioning, solid materials, and breathability, and on top of that I managed to buy them in the sale. For me, they’re fantastic. Another nice advantage is the country where these shoes are made.

These shoes are fantastic — I already own six pairs in different colours. In the Mk I version, the sole was slippery on wet surfaces, but in Mk II that issue was fixed. Despite that flaw, I still recommend the first version as well: they are shoes for year-round use, very light and barely noticeable on the foot, superbly made, and not manufactured just anywhere.

Great product. The shoes are very comfortable, lightweight, and breathable, allowing the foot to breathe. Their price matches the quality. I would definitely buy them again. I sincerely recommend them!

Second time purchasing these boots, previous ones lasted well and even took me up to Everest Base Camp with no blisters and without needing to be broken in

The shoes are very comfortable and well made. They hold the foot well, have a grippy sole and are suitable both for mountain hikes and longer walks. The materials are of high quality, and the shoes provide good protection against moisture and uneven terrain. The price is quite high, but in my opinion, it is compensated by the durability and comfort of use. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable trekking shoes.
