A Smock type jacket in Earth Brown made from Duracanvas material. This fabric is suitable for waxing waterproofing, which enhances protection against rain, moisture, and increases resistance to abrasion. This model is inspired by jackets used by the SAS units of the British Army. The loose fit allows wearing multiple layers of clothing.

8 spacious pockets

The Smock is equipped with 8 spacious pockets, including 2 diagonal cargo pockets on the chest, fastened with Canadian buttons, and 2 hip pockets with a nylon mesh. Each chest pocket has a special loop for attaching smaller equipment, preventing it from being lost. Additional paracord loops are located on both edges of the jacket.

two-way zip and adjustable hood

The jacket fastens with a two-way zip. The lightweight hood can be adjusted in 2 planes, allowing it to fit the head regardless of weather conditions or type of hat worn.

elastic drawstrings and vents

Two drawstrings located at the waist and lower edge of the jacket help adjust the circumference and protect against wind. Vents under the arms ensure good air circulation.

    I definitely recommend buying this jacket. It has large, roomy pockets, and the cuffs provide good protection against draughts while also giving it an interesting look. The underarm vents and the two-way zip make it comfortable to wear even on warmer days. The material protects effectively against the wind. Light drizzle and damp conditions are not a problem, but in heavier rain it soaks through fairly quickly, so it is worth waxing it at least in certain areas — this changes the appearance slightly, but improves protection against rain. I am tall and have broad shoulders, and I often wear two thermal layers and a fleece underneath, yet the jacket still remains very loose and does not restrict movement at all.

    The jacket is made of very high-quality materials. The pockets are well designed. Its fit is loose, but thanks to multi-stage adjustment, you can adapt it both to your body shape and the clothes worn underneath. In my opinion, it works best in spring and summer, as it is lightweight, but on colder days you can add a warmer layer underneath. Size M, which I usually wear, turned out to be suitable here as well. The jacket looks great and is original – rarely seen on the streets. I recommend it, even at the regular price.

    The Helikon Smock jacket deserves praise for its excellent quality, functional cut and many spacious pockets that make it easy to carry equipment. Its advantages also include low weight, versatility, and the adjustable hood and waist. The jacket provides good protection against light rain and wind. With my measurements of 188 cm / 100 kg, I chose size 3XL – it allows a lot of freedom, even without a thick layer underneath, which seems to be the intended effect of this jacket.

    I’ve never had such a good jacket before!!!I’ve been wearing it for a day and I already love it from the very first minute!!!Everything about it is of incredibly good quality, the cut is brilliant, and I also ordered Fjallraven Greenland wax for it so I can wax the key areas where it gets hit by rain, but it already has a water-repellent treatment from the factory as well. It really blocks the wind brilliantly; this morning the weather was quite windy, and I still didn’t feel anything from it. I bought it as an autumn-winter jacket, with proper layered clothing underneath, and I think I’ll order a quality Helikon Tex jumper for it from here as well. In terms of value for money, it’s unbeatable, and the Taiga Green colour is also very good. I hope it will serve me well both in the forest and in everyday life! My deepest respect to the maker, and I wholeheartedly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. I’m 180 cm tall, weigh 78 kilos, and size L is perfect; even worn just over a T-shirt, it’s not really loose, despite the way it’s cut. Thank you!

    A great jacket with many well-thought-out features. Its biggest advantage is the pockets — there are 4 at hip level and 4 on the chest, and the internal chest pockets are genuinely very roomy. For everyday use, you probably would not carry as much in it as in a rucksack, but when needed, it can hold a really large amount of gear. The material feels very durable, and a major advantage is that it can be waxed in the normal way. The hood performs quite well, and the underarm vents are very useful when it gets warmer during a walk. It is also worth choosing a size larger than usual, because then the pockets are more functional and you can comfortably wear extra thermal layers without restricting movement. For the woods and outdoor use in the broad sense, it is an excellent option, although for the city I still prefer the classic M65.

    I was looking for a lightweight jacket with plenty of pockets and found just that with this one. The workmanship is good, the zips run smoothly and reliably. My regular size L fit well here and there’s still enough room for a jumper underneath. The smock is slightly windproof; I can't comment on its waterproofness yet. The only downside: there’s no inside pocket, but that’s not a big issue. For me, it’s a clear purchase recommendation ... especially now at this price!!!

    This jacket immediately caught my eye when I was choosing outerwear on the website. I ordered it and I am now very satisfied. It is made incredibly well, the cut is comfortable and there are lots of pockets where you can fit absolutely everything. This is the first time I have bought something made from Duracanvas material, and I am very pleased with its density and texture. In autumn, I will definitely try impregnating it (waxing it), as recommended in the instructions, to improve protection against rain. A separate note on size: with my measurements (height 188 cm, weight 117 kg), I chose size XXL and it fits perfectly. The jacket is comfortable to wear, and when it gets colder in autumn, a warm fleece will easily fit underneath.
