I definitely recommend buying this jacket. It has large, roomy pockets, and the cuffs provide good protection against drafts while also giving it an interesting look. The underarm vents and the two-way zipper make it comfortable to wear even on warmer days. The material protects effectively against the wind. Light drizzle and damp conditions are not a problem, but in heavier rain it soaks through fairly quickly, so it is worth waxing it at least in selected areas — this changes the appearance slightly, but improves protection against rain. I am tall and have broad shoulders, and I often wear two thermal layers and a fleece underneath, yet the jacket still remains very loose and does not restrict movement at all.
Helikon-Tex SAS Smock Duracanvas Jacket - Earth Brown
A smock jacket in Earth Brown color made from Duracanvas material. This fabric is amenable to waterproofing by waxing, which enhances rain and moisture protection while increasing abrasion resistance. The design is inspired by jackets used by the British Army's SAS units. The loose fit allows for wearing multiple layers of clothing.
8 spacious pockets
The smock features 8 roomy pockets, including 2 slanted cargo pockets on the chest secured with Canadian buttons, and 2 hip pockets with a nylon mesh. Each chest pocket has a special loop for attaching smaller gear, preventing loss. Additional paracord loops are located on both edges of the jacket.
two-way zipper and adjustable hood
The jacket fastens with a two-way zipper. The lightweight hood can be adjusted in 2 planes for a comfortable fit, regardless of weather conditions or hat type.
elastic drawstrings and vents
Two drawstrings located at the waist and lower edge of the jacket help adjust the fit and protect against wind. Vents under the armpits ensure good air circulation.

The jacket is made from very high-quality materials. The pockets are well designed. Its cut is loose, but thanks to the multi-stage adjustment, you can adapt it both to your body shape and to the clothes worn underneath. In my opinion, it works best for spring and summer because it is lightweight, but on colder days you can add a warmer layer underneath. Size M, which I usually wear, turned out to be suitable here as well. The jacket looks great and is original – rarely seen on the streets. I recommend it, even at the regular price.

The Helikon Smock jacket deserves praise for its excellent quality, functional cut, and many spacious pockets that make it easier to carry gear. Other advantages include low weight, versatility, and the adjustable hood and waistband. The jacket provides good protection against light rain and wind. With my measurements of 188 cm / 100 kg, I chose size 3XL — it offers plenty of freedom, even without a thick layer underneath, which seems to be the intended effect of this jacket.

Size: XXL
Great jacket in a nice color at a good price. Only the hip area could be a bit longer. Otherwise recommendable in every respect.

I bought the “Helikon-Tex SAS Smock Duracanvas Jacket - Earth Brown” at a promotional price. The product is high quality and matches the description. The large number of pockets is very practical. Fast delivery. Convenient service.

Size: L
A great jacket with many well-thought-out features. Its biggest advantage is the pockets — there are 4 at hip level and 4 on the chest, and the internal chest pockets are genuinely very roomy. For everyday use, you probably would not carry as much in it as in a backpack, but when needed, it can hold a really large amount of gear. The material feels very durable, and a major advantage is that it can be waxed in the normal way. The hood performs quite well, and the underarm vents are very useful when it gets warmer during a walk. It is also worth choosing a size larger than usual, because then the pockets are more functional and you can comfortably wear extra thermal layers without restricting movement. For the woods and outdoor use in the broad sense, it is an excellent option, although for the city I still prefer the classic M65.

Size: XXL
A well-cut and functional jacket at a good price. However, it could be a bit longer around the hips, and an inner pocket would also be useful. Otherwise: an absolute recommendation to buy.

I was looking for a lightweight jacket with plenty of pockets, and I found it here. The workmanship is good, the zippers work smoothly and reliably. My regular size L fit well here, and there is enough space underneath for a sweater. The smock is slightly windproof; as for the waterproofing, I can't say yet. The only minor downside: there are no inside pockets, but that's forgivable. For me, it's a clear purchase recommendation ... especially at this price!!!

The jacket is functional and looks great. Made from durable yet lightweight material, it has many spacious pockets and a high collar. The hood effectively protects against the wind. I definitely recommend it for autumn walks.

This jacket immediately caught my eye when I was choosing outerwear on the website. I ordered it and now I'm very satisfied. It's sewn incredibly well, the cut is comfortable, and there are lots of pockets that can fit absolutely everything. It's the first time I've gotten something made of Duracanvas material, and I'm very happy with its density and texture. In autumn, I will definitely try to wax it as advised in the instructions to improve its water resistance. Regarding size: for my build (height 188 cm, weight 117 kg), I took the XXL size and it fits perfectly. The jacket is comfortable, and when it gets colder in fall, I'll easily be able to wear a warm fleece under it.
-
Very good jacket for colder days, great style, high-quality material, and precise workmanship, plus many practical pockets. The Earth Brown color looks excellent. I am 180 cm tall, have a 98 cm chest, and weigh 73 kg – size S fits perfectly.

Amazing Helikon-Tex jacket. The duracanvas material feels durable and resistant. The high collar hood offers excellent protection, and multiple pockets add utility
-
Great quality jacket. Loose fit, tough material, excellent capacity, and very high quality stitching, components. Offered at a very reasonable price and prompt delivery. I highly recommend this product and supplier.
-
A simple and comfortable jacket. The two-way zipper and underarm ventilation openings are a plus. However, the price is very high for such a simple jacket—it's only worth buying on sale. Additionally, the information about the possibility of waxing it seems like a marketing ploy, because the material composition, typical for Helikon (mostly polyester), would theoretically allow most of their clothes to be waxed—so in my opinion, it's just artificially building a 'legend' around the product.

The jacket is comfortable, a versatile option for everyday wear in the spring. The hood is a bit small, but it's sufficient. It ventilates well, but it won't protect from the rain. It's only suitable for light rain.
