Temperatures and usage conditions
Trondeland sleeping bag temperature ratings as per EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 14 C – the highest temperature where one can sleep in the bag without overheating,
- T-comfort: -3 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably overnight,
- T-limit: -9 C – the minimum temperature where a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -29 C – the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. Not advised for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The exterior is crafted from 210T Rip-Stop polyester, which effectively offers resistance against abrasion and tearing. The interior is lined with 190T polyamide. Designed in a basin shape, the footbox supports the foot's natural position and enhances insulation in that region. A pocket is included inside for small belongings along with loops to attach an additional thermal liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm insulation
The sleeping bag is equipped with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, recognized for its lightweight and soft qualities. Its microfiber construction provides high loft and efficient thermal insulation. The material maintains its properties even after several washes.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The model features a two-way zipper situated on the right, enabling complete opening both from the top and the bottom. A fluorescent puller facilitates ease of use for the zipper during nighttime. The Anti-Bite system ensures the fabric doesn't snag in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle provides extra defense against heat loss.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
The three-dimensional hood is designed to safeguard the head and minimize heat loss, while also offering protection against wind and moisture. The DUO drawcord, a blend of elastic and webbing, enables movement without needing adjustments, and the webbing at the back allows quick width modifications, especially helpful at night. A thermal collar, crafted as a down-filled tube featuring a drawcord at shoulder level, effectively blocks cold air from entering the bag.

The sleeping bag is heavy, but for this price, it worked great during very low temperatures. For some, the intense color might be an advantage, but for me, it's a downside. The material is solid, though the zipper sometimes gets stuck despite the use of an anti-blocking system. The chest pocket inside the sleeping bag is very practical. The product met my expectations.
