Helikon-Tex Patriot Fleece - Black

The Black fleece jacket with a zip closure offers effective thermal insulation in cool conditions while supporting the release of excess heat and moisture generated during intense physical activity. The Helikon-Tex Patriot model is made from high-density fleece with a weight of 380 g/m2. Its spacious cut allows for wearing additional layers underneath, such as thinner sweatshirts or thermal garments. The slightly extended back effectively shields the kidney area from wind gusts, while the overall length of the jacket has been optimized to ensure unobstructed access to pockets and gear carried on the trouser belt.

Breathable fleece

The fleece is made of 100% quick-drying polyester with a weight of 380 g/m2, which provides effective thermal insulation and good air circulation. Thanks to these properties, the material efficiently wicks moisture away, protecting the body from getting cold. The fabric stands out for its durability and resistance to mechanical damage, making the jacket suitable for demanding environments—whether during hiking or tactical operations. Reinforcements on the elbows increase resistance to abrasion and heavy use.

Adjustable hood

Protection against cold and wind is effectively provided by a spacious, enclosed hood, which allows for comfortable wearing of a winter hat without restricting freedom of movement. The integrated soft brim shields the face from dripping water, improving comfort in unfavorable weather conditions. The hood is permanently attached to the collar, ensuring full neck coverage when worn. Adjustment is done via elastic drawcords, allowing precise fit to the shape of the head and the user’s current needs.

Roomy pockets

The jacket is equipped with six spacious and thoughtfully designed pockets:

  • two chest pockets
  • two sleeve pockets at shoulder height
  • one pocket on the left forearm
  • one pass-through pocket at the back above the hips

All pockets are secured with durable and reliable YKK zippers. The zippers are finished with fabric pull tabs for easier handling, even while wearing thick gloves. Inside the chest pockets, there is a compartment for a phone and cable openings, e.g. for headphones.

Velcro panels, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband

Both shoulders feature Velcro panels that allow for attaching patches, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. The sleeves are equipped with hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, enabling precise adjustment to fit the wrists. The lower part of the jacket includes an elastic drawcord that effectively protects against cold air entering from below and helps retain warmth.
