A warm jacket with a cut reminiscent of the popular flyers-type flight jackets. The outer layer is made of durable and windproof nylon. The lining and polyester filling provide protection against low temperatures.
The MA1 model is equipped with two side pockets with snap-fastening flaps. There is an additional zippered pocket on the shoulder with an organizer sewn on top for a pen or other small accessories.
At the collar, wrists and waist there are knitted welts, which further protect against the cold and allow for a better fit. The jacket is fastened with a solid zipper.
The MA1 can be worn on either the right or left side. The inner part was made in a reflective orange color scheme. This distinctive solution is related to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots. In the event of a malfunction or shoot-down, they had a better chance of being rescued by search services. Nowadays, this ingenious solution can work well when moving along the side of an unlit road outside a built-up area.
