After about six months of intensive use, I noticed that the top layer of material started to come off. Despite frequent polishing, which I see confirmed in other reviews, this is a common problem. The shoes themselves were comfortable and did not let water in, although the sole could have had better grip. The plastic eyelets for the laces, surprisingly, are holding up well.

I'm not sure if these 340 positive reviews are actually genuine opinions, or if maybe there are just rare defective pairs of Zephyr shoes. Overall, the footwear is okay. I bought them less than a year ago at one of the firefighter shops. At first, they were quite hard and stiff, making them difficult to walk in. I use them about 160-180 hours a month (14- or 24-hour shifts). Over time, I noticed that my feet became increasingly sweaty. Unfortunately, this seems to be the main drawback of these shoes. Compared to my previous Protectors, which only wore out at the soles, these are simply unacceptable. Even special insoles don't help with the Zephyrs.

I bought these shoes a year or two ago, mainly as a spare, and I wore them in a little, but I didn’t wear them regularly. For the last two months I’ve been walking around 2 km a day in them, and you can see their condition in the photo. I tried to avoid salt, regularly used ordinary polish, and they weren’t exposed to severe frosts in Wrocław and the surrounding area. The insole is poor, made of styrofoam, and the stories about cushioning are fairy tales. Both soles started to come unstuck at the bend. Very poor quality. But the laces are fine.

A few years ago, I bought these shoes and had previously shared that, over time, they started to crack and similar issues appeared. I also mentioned that I did not plan to purchase them again and would rather spend more on something better. The shop contacted me offering help and a complaint process. I thanked them, but I no longer had the receipt nor remembered the purchase date. After reading various reviews about more expensive shoes, like Lowa, I realised that dissatisfied customers can be found in every price category. Regardless of the amount, you can always find some flaws. That is why I decided to buy the same shoes again and, after breaking them in, I am quite satisfied. In my opinion, it's more worthwhile to replace shoes every few years than to invest in one expensive pair hoping it will be flawless.

The shoes are very good, especially considering their attractive price. They are quite high, which is worth noting, so they may not necessarily be suitable for mountain trips. However, they work great on cold days and during rainy weather. They need a bit of time to break in properly, but that's typical for this type of footwear. I recommend buying them.

The shoes are terrible! I do not recommend them. They really are waterproof up to the height of the upper, but after a few weeks of occasional wear, the leather starts to crack and peel off, which makes them lose their waterproofness. Additionally, the shoes are very slippery on ice.

At first I used the Zephyr Grom MID ZX06, but they were too short for difficult terrain and rain – they soaked quickly, and the heel lining wore out. I have now chosen the Zephyr Grom ZX07 and that was a good decision. This is already my second purchase – the first one lasted over 3.5 years of continuous use, 12–14 hours a day, in the city, forest and mountains, as well as on construction sites. I give 4/5 because a 'cube' of the sole came off – in my opinion, the sole has grooves that are too deep, which means that each part moves separately, though the cushioning is good. Overall, I recommend them to anyone looking for lightweight and comfortable all-purpose footwear.
-
Overall, the shoes are fine, the laces are also good quality, but they rub quite a lot. I have no other complaints, but if someone plans to walk very long distances in them, I don't recommend them.
-
The shoes are comfortable, waterproof, I keep them for motorcycling and hiking. They are breathable, my feet don't sweat, but despite care, the faux leather started to peel and crack.
-
The shoes are light and don't let water in, but that's their only advantage. After an 8 km walk, I found them uncomfortable and not breathable. The right shoe has a manufacturing defect, which causes rubbing around the ankle. After 8 km, it was hard to keep going. I do not recommend them – I’ll have to buy another pair, and these will go in the cupboard.
-
The shoes do their job, I use them for quad riding so I don't walk much in them, waterproofness matters more to me and that is sufficient. I took a smaller size than usual and they fit perfectly.
-
The shoes look very solid. My son was satisfied after the first try-on, no blisters or discomfort, they're comfortable. He had them on for over 8 hours and his feet didn't sweat—that's also a big advantage.
-
At first glance, the shoes look solid, are comfortable, and the size is appropriate. Their drawback is the plastic lace hooks and the overall impression of average workmanship. We'll see how they perform over time, but for the price they look good.

The boots are comfortable and waterproof, good for colder days such as autumn or early spring. In winter, your foot may sweat and get cold, but overall they’re good. The sole was damaged relatively quickly, so I’m taking off one star, but fixing it with glue was enough and I still use them – water doesn’t get in.

Very good shoes for this price. 1. Too high for summer and feet sweat a lot in warmer months. 2. The moisture-proof membrane works, but after a whole day walking in puddles the inside got wet. However, I didn’t feel a lot of water entering – the moisture probably eventually seeped through the leather. 3. You can feel the shoes are cheaply made – my pair already had some damage to the sole, and after one day a hole appeared. The lace hooks are plastic and unevenly fitted, which is bothersome at first use.
