natural leather, cordura, aso gel insole

Constructed mainly from natural grain leather, the boots feature Cordura in the ankle section, providing enhanced air circulation while retaining exceptional durability. Their ergonomic design ensures an ideal fit and superior comfort of use. Additionally, the boots come with an ASO gel insole and a cushioning zone in the heel for added support.

Free-Tex membrane, no metal parts

The footwear is fully waterproof and breathable thanks to the use of a vapor-permeable Free-Tex membrane, with properties similar to Gore-Tex. The boot construction is free of metal elements, allowing for easy passage through security gates at airports and other secured facilities.

After about six months of intensive use, I noticed that the top layer of material started peeling off. Despite frequent polishing—which, as I see from other reviews, is a common issue—this happens often. The shoes themselves were comfortable and didn't let in water, although the sole could have better grip. Surprisingly, the plastic lace hooks are holding up well.

I'm not sure if these 340 positive reviews are actually real opinions or if it's just that faulty pairs of Zephyr shoes are rare. Overall, the footwear is okay. I bought them less than a year ago from one of the firefighter stores. At first, it was hard to walk in them; they were quite stiff and rigid. I use them about 160-180 hours per month (14 or 24-hour shifts). Over time, I noticed my feet were getting increasingly damp. Unfortunately, this seems to be the main flaw of these shoes. Compared to my previous Protectors, which only wore out on the soles, these are just unacceptable. Even special insoles don't help in the Zephyrs.

I bought these shoes a year or two ago, mainly as a backup, and wore them a bit to break them in, but I didn't wear them regularly. For the past two months, I've been wearing them every day for about 2 km, and their condition can be seen in the photo. I tried to avoid salt, regularly used regular shoe polish, and they weren't exposed to harsh winter conditions in Wroclaw and the surrounding area. The insole is poor, made of styrofoam, and the stories about cushioning are nonsense. Both soles started to come off at the bending point. Very poor quality. But the shoelaces are fine.

A few years ago, I bought these shoes and had previously mentioned that over time they started to crack and things like that. I also mentioned that I didn't plan to buy them again and would rather spend more on something better. The store reached out to me with an offer of help and a complaint procedure. I thanked them, as I no longer had the receipt or remembered the date of purchase. After reading various opinions about more expensive shoes, like Lowa, I concluded that dissatisfied customers are found in every price group. Regardless of the amount, you can always find some flaws. That’s why I decided to buy the same shoes again, and after breaking them in, I’m quite satisfied. In my opinion, it’s more cost-effective to replace shoes every few years than to invest in one expensive pair hoping they’ll be perfect.

The shoes are very good, especially considering their attractive price. They are quite high, which is worth keeping in mind, so they are not necessarily suitable for mountain trips. However, they work great on cold days and in rainy weather. They need a little time to break in properly, but that's typical for this type of footwear. I recommend buying them.

The shoes are terrible! I do not recommend them, they really don't let water in up to the height of the upper, but after a few weeks of occasional use the leather starts to crack and peel, which makes them lose their waterproof qualities. Additionally, the shoes are very slippery on ice.

At first, I used the Zephyr Grom MID ZX06, but they were too short for tough terrain and rain – they would get wet quickly, and the heel lining wore out. I now chose the Zephyr Grom ZX07 and it was a good decision. This is actually my second purchase—the first pair lasted over 3.5 years of constant use, 12–14 hours a day, in the city, forest, and mountains, as well as on construction sites. I give it 4/5 because a 'block' of the sole came off—in my opinion, the sole has cuts that are too deep, which makes each part of it work separately, though the cushioning is good. Overall, I recommend it to anyone looking for lightweight and comfortable universal footwear.

Generally, the shoes are fine, and the laces are good quality, but they rub quite a lot. I have no other complaints, but if someone plans to cover very long distances in them, I would not recommend it.

The shoes are comfortable, waterproof, I use them for motorcycle rides and hiking. They breathe well, my feet don’t sweat, but despite care, the pseudo leather began to flake and crack.

The shoes are light and waterproof, but those are their only advantages. After walking 8 km, I found them uncomfortable and not breathable. The right shoe has a factory defect that presses on the ankle and causes chafing. After 8 km it was hard to keep going. I do not recommend them – I will have to buy another pair and these will end up in the closet.

The shoes do their job, I use them for quad biking so I don't walk much in them, what matters to me more is water resistance and that is sufficient. I took a size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly.

The shoes look very sturdy. My son was satisfied after the first fitting, there were no blisters or discomfort, they're comfortable. He had them on for over 8 hours and his feet didn’t sweat – that's also a big advantage.

At first glance, the shoes look solid, they are comfortable and the size is right. Their drawback is the plastic lace hooks and the overall impression of mediocre quality workmanship. We'll see how they hold up over time, but for the price, they present themselves well.

The shoes are comfortable and waterproof, suitable for colder days like autumn or early spring. In winter, your feet might sweat, which makes them cold, but overall they hold up. The sole got damaged pretty quickly, so I deduct one star, but fixing it with glue was enough and I still use them – water doesn't get in.

Very good shoes for this price. 1. Too high for summer, and feet sweat a lot in warmer months. 2. The waterproof membrane works, but after walking in puddles all day, the inside got damp. However, I didn’t feel much water leak inside – the moisture probably passed through the leather over time. 3. You can feel the shoes are cheaply made – my pair developed sole defects, and a hole appeared after one day. The lace hooks are plastic and unevenly attached, which is a nuisance at first.
