Replacement Lenses for Wiley X Founder Glasses with Polarisation - Captivate Polarized Blue Mirror
Polarised visors compatible with Wiley X Founder series glasses, made from durable polycarbonate and coated with a highly scratch-resistant T-Shell Anti Scratch layer. A special oleophobic coating protects the lenses from dust, dirt, oil, snow and water, while also preventing fogging. They provide excellent visual clarity and effectively block blinding glare, ensuring light transmission between 14–20%.
Durable polycarbonate construction
Visors manufactured using HVP technology (High Velocity Protection) provide protection for the eyes against injuries caused by high-speed objects or fragments, in accordance with class F (resistance to impacts from objects weighing 0.86 g at a speed of 45 m/s).
Captivate technology, compliance with safety standards
Captivate technology optimises the distribution of visible light, stabilising the amount reaching the eye. It keeps colours neutral, while accentuating greens. It reduces glare, enhances contrast and colour intensity outdoors, and at the same time provides protection against harmful UVA and UVB radiation.
The model meets the protective requirements of ANSI Z87.1 and EN.166F.

T-Shell is a coating on Wiley X glasses that resists scratches, protects lenses from damage and extends their life.
Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 45 m/s (164.6 km/h).
