Silva Ranger S compass with mirror

The Silva Ranger S is a simple and reliable compass with fluorescent markings that allow the compass to be used both during the day and at night.

It has a "box-shaped" design with a lockable lid, under which is a mirror for determining azimuth.

The compass is manufactured from lightweight and durable plastic, featuring a rotating limbus with graduations to aid navigation in the Silva 1-2-3 system, and is covered in non-slip DryFlex rubber to allow the compass to be used in a variety of conditions, whatever the weather.

The transparent base features two scales for reading distances from a map and a 40mm long ruler. In addition, the compass is equipped with a graduation scale for correcting declination.

The model is offered with a lanyard with a special clasp that automatically disconnects when properly tensioned.
