A simple plate compass with a lockable protective flap, it is made of polymer and REVO material (recycled plastic reinforced with hemp fibers) and has a classic box-like design.

Under the lockable flap there is a mirror, which allows you to determine your bearing while viewing the compass dial. The mirror also has a signaling function, allowing you to indicate your position and transmit messages in Morse code. The transparent base bears a millimeter/inch ruler and two scales for reading distances from a map.

A rotating ring with a graduated scale is placed on a polymer base. Inside the ring are lines for accurate bearing and a graduation scale for making a correction for magnetic declination.

Photoluminescent needle and directionalmarkings make the compass easy to use in low-light conditions. A magnifying glass allows you to read even the smallest details on the map.

It comes with a lanyard with a secure clasp for hanging around the neck.

    The compass is excellent, it has a great size – it will probably fit in most pockets, and it sits securely in the hand. The Terra version comes with an interesting box which makes it stand out from others. Additionally, the brown element around the mirror is made of a pleasant-to-touch material and the whole thing gives a very elegant impression.

    I have been using this compass for over three months now and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The compass is lightweight, yet solidly built. The sapphire bearing ensures the needle stabilises quickly. It is equipped with all the features useful for military purposes: phosphorescent markings, rulers for working with 1:25k and 1:50k maps, a degree scale and a mirror.     Great compass for working with a map in the field. It contains all the necessary features, is solidly made, the plastic is thicker, and the mirror is a great addition. The price to quality ratio is very good, I have no complaints at this price point. I definitely recommend Silvia brand products.
