The problem with ponchos is almost always the same: you buy one intending to stay dry in the rain, but as soon as you start moving (say, during a hike), you end up wet on the inside because the material doesn't breathe at all. Side openings usually aren't enough to prevent condensation, as the fabric folds and sticks to itself, hindering effective airflow. However, that waterproofness becomes qiute valuable when the poncho is used as a tarp or bivy shelter  something this Badger model also allows for, though, in my opinion, there are better options available. I also ordered a MFH Ripstop poncho and was able to test both with my sons during a rainy hike. Both fit reasonably well for people between 160 and 190 cm tall. For use primarily focused on rain protection while hiking, I prefer the Badger because it is slightly lighter, the fabric is less stiff, and the shape of the included pouch makes it easier to pack into your backpack. Conversely, the MFH strikes me as somewhat more robust and better suited if you plan to use it frequently as a tarp or as a groundsheet under your tent.

I liked it very much, mainly because of the right size and low weight. It is solidly made — simply a great poncho, and the hood is the perfect size. I previously had a poncho with a larger hood, and it was not very practical: the wind kept pushing it off, and even after tightening the drawstrings it still became too small. This model is well balanced and not as thick as the OP1. It fits easily even into the side pockets of cargo trousers.

The poncho provides excellent protection against rain regardless of the weather. It is lightweight, yet durable. I use it in the summer at my allotment and for walks with the dog in the forest. It doesn't cause sweating, unlike traditional rain jackets. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect for cycling, the backpack fits easily under the poncho, so after purchasing I get wet much less often. Without the original cover, it fits into the Helikon-Tex General Purpose Cargo Pouch, which allows you to conveniently attach the whole thing to the backpack and always have it with you. The beech look, which was mentioned in another comment, is also an advantage.

I bought the poncho with Scotland in mind, but I didn’t get a chance to use it in the rain, as it didn’t rain – such a paradox. Instead, it served as a groundsheet under my tent, as the ground there is always damp, and it worked perfectly with my Fjord Nansen Tordis I tent. Using the poncho as a thicker floor provided better protection against possible damage and added waterproofing. It's a practical solution, allowing you to use one product in multiple ways.

This is another poncho of this brand for me, this time I chose the camouflage version and I hope it will work as well as the previous ones. The poncho does its job, it is very light, has four eyelets that allow you to make a temporary shelter in the field, as well as a hood with a drawstring and its own cover. My only concern is with the PU coating, which in this piece seems less durable than in my previous poncho from this manufacturer. Additionally, the hood could be bigger, because people with a large head and a hat, helmet or cap on may have difficulties putting on the poncho.

Light and practical poncho that reliably protects against rain. It can be packed away small and is quickly thrown on. Ideal as a backup in your rucksack.

I agree with the other reviews, it's an excellent product. Of course, you can find even better, but the quality/price ratio here is excellent. Relatively lightweight, it provides good protection from the elements during rainy walks, and it can be transformed into a makeshift shelter for impromptu stops. I recommend it!

The poncho is extremely comfortable and perfectly fulfils its function. It effectively protects against rain, and its material is sturdy. The loose fit allows you to easily put it on over a backpack. It weighs little, is easy to fold and carry. It works excellently during various outdoor activities.

The poncho was purchased as a spare cover for long walks. I appreciate the included case and the option to connect two ponchos, which allows you to create an improvised shelter using a cord. It's great that you can also combine single ponchos.
