The value for money is great, I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s still working well. It contains almost all the functions you might need. The tool locks are a big plus, the case and bit set are good quality. It’s a pity the bits don’t fit in the case, but despite that it still deserves 5 stars.

I give 5 stars with a small minus – I bought this multitool more as a spare than for regular use and generally it looks durable, offers lots of functions, making it a universal tool. After proper lubrication, everything works smoothly. The knife needed sharpening. The downside is that there’s no place for bits in the case – you don’t know where to store them, and on the black model scratches appear easily. If I were to choose again, I’d go for the steel version.

This is one of my best purchases. Satisfying quality and abundance of tools means I use it very often – for various tasks, from shelling pistachios to home repairs. I did not expect it to be so useful, but now I always have it in my backpack. I bought one for myself, but later picked a more expensive Leatherman as a gift. I regretted it, as it cost three times as much and didn’t have spring-loaded pliers, which makes work easier. Next time I’ll choose the tried and tested Badger again. As for the scissors, you have to open them wide for the spring to work – they are there and do their job.

The knife is moderately sharp so it’s worth sharpening, the scissors cut superbly and the saw is very sharp and aggressive. The only minus for me is the lack of space for the bit set in the multitool’s case, whereas some competitors offer a separate compartment. Nevertheless, if you don’t want to spend much more on a Leatherman, it’s a great alternative.
