This compass really stands out. Compared to cheaper models, the needle finds north very quickly – I was positively surprised. The dial is very precise and can be operated easily even with gloves. The slight resistance when turning is a big plus. All the features that improve working with maps have been perfectly refined.

All my map compasses are Silva products and I knew this model would be the biggest. It's never let me down. All the elements on the ruler are essential for quick use of the map. The original scale on the lanyard is also a plus.

This is probably one of the best Silva compasses. Often, more expensive models with many features do not perform well, but this one works brilliantly when working with maps and in orienteering. It is solid and precise. I definitely recommend it.

I've been using it for three years and it hasn't let me down once. Very precise, exceptionally comfortable and simple to use. A definite plus is the illustrations that help you quickly orient yourself on the map, regardless of whether you have MGRS or UTM divisions. Light and easy to carry – there’s always room for it in your pocket. The scale on the lanyard is also a useful option, as it lets you quickly estimate distances. Although it's more expensive, I think the quality is worth the price. It's worth it!

At this price, you won't find a better compass; even more expensive models or products from other brands don't match its quality. It determines north very quickly and accurately – you don’t have to wait long for the needle to stabilise as with other compasses. Additionally, the side ruler makes map work easier.

This compass is a true masterpiece, I recommend it to anyone seriously thinking about covering long distances. Then such equipment is simply indispensable.
