This compass really stands out. Compared to cheaper models, the needle lines up north very quickly—I was pleasantly surprised. The dial is very precise and can be operated easily even with gloves. The slight resistance when turning is a big advantage. All the details that make working with maps easier have been perfected.

All of my map compasses are products from Silva, and I knew this model would be the largest. It has never let me down. All the ruler's elements are essential for quick map use. The original scale on the lanyard is also a plus.

This is probably one of Silva’s best compasses. Often, more expensive models with many functions don’t work as well, but this one handles map work and orienteering excellently. It’s solid and precise. I definitely recommend it.
