Silva Terra Expedition S Compass

A professional map compass with a classic boxed design. It was made of polymer and REVO material (recycled plastic reinforced with hemp fibers).

The model is equipped with photoluminescent markings on the rotating dial, needle and plate, which facilitate use in low-light conditions. The compass also features a magnifying glass, 85 mm and 3-inch rulers, a pendulum clinometer (angle indicator) and scales of 1:24,000, 1:25,000 and 1:50,000.

Under the lockable flap, there is a mirror that allows you to determine bearing while viewing the compass dial. The mirror also has a signaling function, allowing you to indicate your position and transmit messages in Morse code. Magnetic declination correction allows the compass to be used in any part of the world.

The lanyard included in the set has 1:25000 and 1:50000 scales marked on it.
