A filter with activated carbon is essential equipment for purifying water outdoors, especially during extended periods without access to clean water, for example in emergencies. Chemical contaminants are common in Polish surface waters. The add-on can be installed either on the filter or directly onto a PET bottle, especially if the water can be boiled and a nano filter is unnecessary. I recommend this product and the shop Militaria.pl.

This is one of the more interesting products from this company. The filter works independently, you just need to screw it onto a PET bottle with a standard thread. I believe that a carbon filter is more important than a microfilter when it comes to emergency water purification. Biological contaminants can be eliminated by boiling or exposing the water to UV light, but in this way you won’t get rid of the typical chemicals found in Polish surface waters. For longer storage, the filter should be kept in its original, tightly closed packaging.

Finally! It's like a smaller version of the Grayl. Great solution! I suggest buying more replacement cartridges in advance, as they can sometimes be unavailable for a long time.

If you don’t mind the shelf life after opening, I recommend this product – the taste of the water is really better. Easy to set up and convenient to carry – I definitely recommend it.
