From a military blasting cap crimper, through a durable blade, a fuse cutter and a brown firearm cleaning tool, to an M16/AR-15 bolt override tool and a replaceable C4 punch – the Leatherman MUT EOD offers everything essential in an easily accessible design created for specialised use. This allows you to focus on mission execution, equipment maintenance and minimising the weight of your equipment. The product is covered by a 25-year warranty.
Tactical functions: firearm adjustment and maintenance
The MUT EOD multitool is compatible with most standard cleaning rods dedicated to firearms from the M16/AR-15 family. The replaceable C4 punch can be replaced with a cleaning rod or brush, making them easier to handle. A similar threaded opening is located in the central part of the multitool handle, allowing it to provide a solid and comfortable handle for a cleaning rod. Alternatively, an M16/AR-15 takedown punch can be mounted in place of the C4 punch.
A unique advantage of the MUT EOD, apart from the professional blasting cap crimper, is its replaceable fuse cutter blades, made of hardened 154CM stainless steel. The tool is also equipped with a bit socket, which allows the use of so-called bits, significantly expanding its functional range. The set includes bits intended for standard servicing of firearms from the M16/AR-15 family. Another key feature of the MUT EOD is the ability to replace the parts that wear out most often. Thanks to the Torx #8 key, replacement is quick and efficient, even directly on the battlefield.

A great multitool with a specific use. The black coating stains hands quite a lot, so it’s worth washing the tool with soap and water and drying it well. The holster/magazine pouch is green, but it’s just a regular green, not olive, although it still looks good on gear. The bit extender also serves as a tool for adjusting the front sight on AR rifles. I highly recommend this multitool!

I decided to buy a product from this brand for the first time, believing it would be durable and reliable. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Already on the second use, the flat tip broke off when unscrewing a screw. The manufacturer does not accept complaints about replaceable parts. I definitely will not buy this product again.
