Although it is not among the cheap options, it is still an original product with quality backed by the American leader in the portable tools segment. For more demanding users, a more expensive version with a ratchet is also available.

Leatherman MUT EOD (833120 ) Multitool
In high-stress situations, worrying about accessing the right tool at the right time should be the last concern.
From a sapper's primer crimper, to a heavy-duty blade, a fuse cutter and a bronze weapon cleaning tool, to an M16/AR-15 carbine breech jam removal tool and a replaceable C4 punch, the Leatherman MUT EOD offers everything you need in an easily accessible design designed for specialized use. This allows you to focus on accomplishing your mission, maintaining your gear and minimizing the weight of your gear. The product comes with a 25-year warranty.
Tactical functions: weapon adjustment and maintenance
The MUT EOD multitool is compatible with most standard cleaning rods dedicated to the M16/AR-15 family of weapons. The interchangeable punch for the C4 can be replaced with a cleaning rod or brush, making them easy to maneuver. A similar threaded hole is located in the center of the multitool's handle, allowing for a solid and comfortable handle for the cleaning rods. Alternatively, a knockout for M16/AR-15 carbine mounting pins can be mounted in place of the C4 punch.
A unique advantage of the MUT EOD, in addition to the professional primer crimper, are the replaceable fuse cutter blades, made of hardened 154CM stainless steel. The tool is also equipped with a socket for interchangeable bits, which allows the use of so-called bits, significantly expanding the range of functionality. The set includes bits designed for the standard handling of weapons of the M16/AR-15 family. A key feature of the MUT EOD is also the ability to replace the most common wear items. Thanks to a #8 torx wrench, replacement is quick and efficient, even directly on the battlefield.

Review summary
Automatically prepared based on reviews
Reviews are mostly very positive. Users praise the high build quality, sturdy construction, and strong practicality of Leatherman accessories and multitools, especially the bit extender and the MUT. The biggest advantage is the clear boost in functionality: it is easier to work in hard-to-reach areas, standard bits can be used, and the accessories are easy to carry in a sheath. The MUT also earns strong feedback as a specialized multitool for firearm maintenance, particularly for AR15 platforms, although some users note its extra weight and more niche purpose. The most common complaint is the high price. Some reviews also mention tightly fitting bits, slight play in the connection, or difficulty removing standard bits. Less often, users report durability issues and disappointing warranty support for accessories.

Not exactly cheap, but still a very useful accessory - mainly because it lets you use cheap standard bits from discount stores or hardware stores.

During the first use, the bit got completely stuck in the extension socket and could not be removed. It turns out this is a common problem reported by users, and Leatherman also does not cover this accessory under warranty, which is very disappointing.
-
The price is a bit higher, but we are dealing with the original, which is worth having along with the set of bits. Production takes place in Taiwan and Vietnam, which may matter to people who pay attention to that.
-
The multitool is very sturdy and practical. The tools work steadily, the whole thing is solid and comfortable to hold. It works perfectly when working with equipment, and the presence of the MOLLE sheath is a big advantage.
-
The price is quite high, but the product works very well. The version with a ratchet might be a better choice, although this one also does the job. It's definitely an essential purchase if you plan to assemble more than just a few screws.
-
A multitool of very good quality and thoughtful design, like all Leatherman products. It also stands out with its original and elegant colors. In the hand, you can clearly feel the solid workmanship and the use of durable materials. An additional advantage is the 25-year warranty.

This is an absolutely essential accessory for the Leatherman multitool. It makes work much more efficient. It's also a plus that it fits universal bits. I highly recommend it, though the price is quite high for such a small thing.

Leatherman MUT is one of my favorite multitools. I own both the black version and the standard one. It's a great choice for people who often use AR15 rifles. On a daily basis, I use the Charge model, and I always have the MUT in my gear.
-
It's good to have this tool along with a multitool set. I haven't needed it yet, but it also fits Bosch tips, so I definitely recommend it. Great gift idea.
-
High-quality multi-tool from Leatherman, sold with a black holster and an extension. This incredibly durable plier is designed for routine maintenance of AR15-type weapons. Its military design and 15 functions make the pliers slightly heavier. Some accessories are replaceable, which ensures great longevity. A must-have in the range!!!
-
It complements the multitool very well. Very good build quality, noticeable premium feel. Unfortunately, this also means a high price, but despite that, I'm very happy with the purchase.
-
The equipment, as always, is perfectly made. It helps every day both at work and after, and will also come in handy during mushroom picking, fishing trips, or home repairs. I recommend it to people who value durable materials and many years of use. The quality speaks for itself.

Great addition to a multitool. Tested with Leatherman Signal, works very well. Very strong magnet, so bits have to be removed with a tool. It's small enough to fit with the multitool in the holster.
-
A great accessory for both my Surge and Skeletool. It also fits the Tread Tempo bracelet. It's proven to be indispensable in many situations. I definitely recommend it, the quality to price ratio is satisfactory.
