Tactical functions: weapon adjustment and maintenance
The MUT EOD multitool is designed to be compatible with most standard cleaning rods for the M16/AR-15 series of firearms. By replacing the interchangeable C4 punch with a cleaning rod or brush, maneuvering is simplified. A similar threaded hole is situated in the multitool's handle, providing a solid and comfortable handle for the cleaning rods. During the first use, the bit got completely stuck in the extension socket and could not be removed. It turns out this is a common problem reported by users, and Leatherman also does not cover this accessory under warranty, which is very disappointing.

Leatherman MUT is one of my favorite multitools. I own both the black version and the standard one. It's a great choice for people who often use AR15 rifles. On a daily basis, I use the Charge model, and I always have the MUT in my gear.

Great addition to a multitool. Tested with Leatherman Signal, works very well. Very strong magnet, so bits have to be removed with a tool. It's small enough to fit with the multitool in the holster.
