Wiley X Citadel Tactical Glasses - Captivate Red/Polished White

Tactical glasses with a white frame equipped with Selenite polycarbonate lenses, made with modern Captivate technology, and light and durable frames created from Triloid nylon. The interchangeable lens system allows for quick adaptation to current light conditions. Rubber contact elements, such as nose pads and temple tips, enhance stability, ensuring a secure fit during movement. The model is suitable for outdoor operations, on sunny days, and in bright lighting.

visors made of Selenite polycarbonate, Captivate technology

The lenses are made of shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate, providing 100% eye protection from harmful solar radiation (UVA, UVB). Light transmittance is 15%. Lenses made with Captivate technology equalise the spectrum of visible light, resulting in its more uniform arrival at the eye. They maintain the natural colour of hues while enhancing green. They minimise glare, increase contrast and colour clarity in outdoor conditions, and protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet radiation UVA and UVB, as well as from blue light (HEV).

The lenses feature an Oleophobic coating, which protects against the deposition of dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water, making the lenses much easier to clean than standard models without this layer. The T-Shell coating guards against scratches.

contoured frames, non-slip temple tips, side shields

Anatomically contoured frames and lenses are created using HVP technology (High Velocity Protection), which provides eye protection against potential injuries from high-speed moving objects. The frames are made from durable Triloid material. The shape of the frames ensures a good fit and does not limit the comfort of wearing headphones or hearing protectors. Non-slip rubber temple tips and nose pads keep the glasses stable on the face. Easy-to-attach side shields comply with the safety standard ANSI Z87.1+.

protective standards

  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - this standard requires the frame and lenses to withstand the impact of a 0.5 kg object falling from a height of about 130 centimetres.
  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - this standard states that the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s).
  • MIL-PRF 32432A - according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of fragments moving at speeds from 768 to 796 km/h (or around 213–221 m/s) without lens breakage and without detachment of elements that could endanger the user.
