Wiley X Citadel Tactical Glasses - Captivate Grey/Matte Black

Tactical glasses with a white frame, equipped with lenses made from Selenite polycarbonate, developed using the modern Captivate technology. The frames are made from lightweight and durable Triloid nylon. The interchangeable lens system allows quick adaptation to current lighting conditions. Rubber contact parts, nose pads, and temples increase stability and ensure a secure fit during movement. The model functions well outdoors, in sunny weather and intense lighting.

The lenses are made from shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate and provide 100% protection for the eyes against harmful solar (UVA, UVB) radiation. They allow a light transmission of 17%. Lenses produced with Captivate technology balance the visible light spectrum, ensuring light is evenly diffused. They maintain the natural colour tone, while enhancing greens. They reduce glare and increase contrast and colour saturation in the external environment, providing protection against harmful ultraviolet UVA and UVB radiation, as well as blue light (HEV).

The lenses feature an Oleophobic coating, which prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water adherence, making them significantly easier to clean compared to standard lenses without coating. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.

Anatomically contoured frames and lenses of the sunglasses have been developed with HVP technology (High Velocity Protection), protecting the eyes from injuries caused by high-speed objects. The frames are made from durable Triloid material, shaped for proper fit without compromising comfort when using headphones or hearing protectors. Rubber, non-slip temples and a nose pad ensure a stable fit on the face. Easily snapped-on side shields meet the ANSI Z87.1+ safety standard.

• ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - this standard requires that the frame and lenses withstand the impact of a 0.5 kg object falling from a height of approximately 130 centimetres
• ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s)
• MIL-PRF 32432A - under this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of shrapnel at the speed of a steel fragment moving at approximately 768–796 km/h (around 213–221 m/s) without lens perforation or detachment of any components that could injure the user
