Wiley X Citadel Tactical Glasses - Captivate Tungsten/Matte Black Tan

Tactical glasses with a Matte Black Tan frame feature polycarbonate Selenite lenses made with modern Captivate technology and lightweight, durable frames made from Triloid nylon. The lens exchange system allows quick adjustment to current lighting conditions. Rubber contact elements, nose pads, and earpiece tips increase stability and ensure a secure fit during movement. This model is suitable for outdoor activities in sunny and bright lighting conditions.

The lenses are made from shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate and provide 100% protection against harmful solar radiation (UVA, UVB). They guarantee light transmission at the level of 15%. Lenses created with Captivate technology equalise the visible light spectrum, so that light reaches the eye more uniformly. They maintain colour neutrality while enhancing green. They reduce glare, increase contrast and colours in the external environment, providing protection against harmful ultraviolet UVA and UVB rays, as well as against blue light (HEV).

On the lenses, there is an Oleophobic coating, protecting against the adhesion of dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water, making them much easier to clean than standard lenses without coating. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.

Anatomically fitted frames and lenses are made with HVP technology (High Velocity Protection). This solution protects eyes from injuries caused by high-speed objects. The frames are made from durable Triloid material. Their shape ensures an optimal fit and does not obstruct the use of headphones or hearing protectors. Rubber, non-slip temples and nose pads provide stability of the glasses on the face. Easy to detach side shields meet the ANSI Z87.1+ safety standard.

• ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - these standards specify that the frame and visor must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at 164.6 km/h (45 m/s)
• MIL-PRF 32432A - these standards assume that the frame and visor withstand impacts from fragments travelling at the speed of a steel fragment of about 768–796 km/h (about 213–221 m/s), without the lens cracking through and without detachment of elements that could injure the user
