Wiley X Citadel Tactical Glasses - Captivate Tungsten/Matte Black Tan

Tactical glasses in Matte Black Tan, featuring Selenite polycarbonate lenses made with modern Captivate technology and a lightweight, durable Triloid nylon frame. The lens exchange system allows quick adaptation to current lighting conditions. Rubber contact elements, nose pads, and temple tips enhance stability and ensure a secure fit during movement. This model is ideal for outdoor activities in sunny and bright lighting conditions.

visors made from Selenite polycarbonate, Captivate technology

The lenses are made of shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate and provide 100% protection for the eyes against harmful sun radiation (UVA, UVB). They guarantee a light transmission level of 15%. The lenses created with Captivate technology balance the visible light spectrum, allowing light to reach the eyes more evenly. They maintain color neutrality while enhancing greenery. They reduce glare, increase contrast, and color in the external environment, providing protection from harmful ultraviolet radiation UVA and UVB, as well as from blue light (HEV).

The lenses are coated with an Oleophobic layer, protecting against dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water adherence, making them much easier to clean than standard lenses without a coating. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.

contoured frames, non-slip temples, side shields

Anatomically fitted frames and lenses are made using HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology. This solution protects eyes from injuries caused by objects moving at high speed. The frames are made from durable Triloid material. Their shape ensures optimal fit and does not hinder the use of headphones or hearing protectors. Rubber, non-slip temples and nose pads provide stability on the face. Easily removable side shields meet the ANSI Z87.1+ safety standard.

protection standards

  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - these standards require the frame and lenses to withstand the impact of a 0.5 kg object falling from a height of about 130 cm
  • ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - these standards state that the frame and visor must withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm steel ball moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s)
  • MIL-PRF 32432A - these standards assume that the frame and visor will withstand shrapnel moving at the speed of a steel fragment at approximately 768–796 km/h (about 213–221 m/s), without the lens breaking through and without detachment of elements that could injure the user
