Durable metal parts and solid silicone, but the biggest drawback is the black velcro – the VI.6+ model is definitely better here, as it stays soft even in the cold. Meanwhile, the velcro in the Volven is hard, sharp on the edges and can scratch your shoe. I think it’s best to remove it right away to avoid damaging your footwear – the silicone straps alone are perfectly sufficient to wear the crampons.

Versatile hiking crampons designed for hiking in valleys and less steep mountain trails. Increase grip on slippery ground, including frozen snow and light ice. They are not a substitute for classic crampons and are not suitable for climbing or going out into high mountains.

The design includes 13 tines with a length of 15 mm, made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The connection of the points by steel chains improves stability on slippery terrain. Additional steel plates placed in the front and rear of the sole increase durability. Hinge in the front plate allows the foot to flex naturally, reducing stress during walking.
Easy adjustment, markings for easy fitting
Flexible silicone band, resistant to low temperatures, allows quick donning and adaptation to different models of outdoor footwear. Additional Velcro strap increases stability during use. Markings on the front and back make it easier to fit the crampons correctly.
Rigid case, compact size
