UF PRO Striker Gen.3 Boonie Hat - Flecktarn

A hat made from Nyco Extreme, a 185 g/m2 fabric combining durable Cordura and breathable cotton. Thanks to its Rip-Stop weave reinforcement, the fabric does not ripple or fray, even in the event of localised damage. An ideal choice for those looking for lightweight and durable head protection, whether for tough off-road conditions or for everyday use.

The Cordura used is distinguished by its high resistance. Thanks to its unique fibre structure, it provides excellent protection against mechanical damage, even during intensive use.

Cotton is responsible for excellent moisture wicking, while ensuring breathability and reducing the risk of chafing or skin irritation, which significantly increases the comfort of the hat.

The thicker threads in the Rip-Stop weaves create an additional mesh, reinforcing the material and preventing damage from spreading over a larger area.

The hat's circumference can be adjusted thanks to an elastic cord with a stopper. An integrated wire is used in the brim, allowing for a precise fit to the shape of the head.

For even greater comfort, the model features an internal air cushion that provides additional thermal insulation to help maintain an optimal body temperature. Despite the extra protection, the cushion remains lightweight and does not affect the weight of the hat.

There are mesh vents at the front and back to allow air to flow freely.

A webbing with loops has been sewn onto the hat to carry useful accessories or to attach a camouflage net. Inside there is a flat pocket for storing small items.

Thanks to the velcro panels, it is possible to attach any patches or emblems, such as flags, unit emblems or so-called Morale Patches.

Military operations: thanks to the durability of Cordura, the model is well suited for use in demanding field conditions. Velcro straps allow you to attach emblems and patches.

Survival and outdoor: Loops allow the necessary accessories to be easily attached. Wearing comfort, even on long expeditions, is ensured by the air cushion and ventilation holes.

Nature observation: The option of attaching a camouflage net makes the model suitable for nature-watching enthusiasts, allowing them to blend in discreetly with their surroundings.

Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern, officially introduced for use by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black and beige. With the distribution of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between the colors, Flecktarn effectively distracts from the wearer's silhouette in forest terrain, as well as in scrubland or against the background of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was designed for European climatic conditions, especially for the temperate zone. To this day, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army, other military and police officers. Its effectiveness has led to numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.
