I also ordered the Trangia because of a thin handle on the cooking set. It gives a really good grip and fits various pots and pans. The only problem, as already mentioned, is that it has very sharp edges. You need to smooth these yourself a bit, otherwise it will scratch the cookware or you might cut yourself. Still, a good product.

I was considering for a long time whether I would need this product for my mini Trangia set (small frying pan and pot without a handle). The set included a thin, metal gripper, but this handle turned out to be extremely stable. I would buy it again, although you have to be careful because its tip is quite sharp and can scratch utensils during transport. That's why I usually put it in a separate pocket in my backpack or wrap it in fabric. For the stability of the grip, I give it 5, and for workmanship, 4 – due to the sharp edge.

This is one of the most practical gadgets – you can easily grab hot pots and you don’t have to worry about getting burned. It does its job, and I use it during every trip.
