I bought this product for my dad after his tick-borne encephalitis, but unfortunately it didn't work. Every time he came back from the forest he had a tick on him. I do not recommend.

TickLess – ultrasonic tick protection is a compact, portable device that generates ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, inaudible to humans and domestic animals.
It is useful during forest trips, time at the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft activities, and all kinds of outdoor activities where there is a risk of tick contact.
Ticks are carriers of dangerous diseases such as Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis. Using the TickLess device helps reduce the risk of bites and thus the risk of infection.

Ticks use the Haller's organ located on the first pair of legs to locate a host. The ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz emitted by the device disrupt the reception of stimuli by this organ. The effective range is approximately 2 meters.
The green casing is made of durable plastic resistant to damage. The device meets the IP13 standard, which means protection against solid objects larger than 50 mm and resistance to water spray at a 60-degree angle.
Device operation
The device is activated by removing the safety tab, then pressing the button. Four green LED flashes indicate the device has started. During use, a single green flash appears every 5 minutes. After 8 hours, the device switches off automatically, though it can also be deactivated manually – confirmed by a long red flash.
TickLess should be attached to the outer layer of clothing to allow effective spread of ultrasonic waves. Thanks to the built-in clip, it can be fastened to a belt, backpack, or another piece of clothing. The device lifespan is estimated at approximately 3000 hours.

The repellent works very effectively. You can safely run and walk in the forest and undergrowth.

On the plus side: the device really does its job, because although I’ve come into contact with ticks a few times, none have bitten me. On the minus side: the clip is stiff and easy to attach to a strap, but it’s harder with a thick belt or pocket. Additionally, the power button is sensitive, especially when the device is hanging – you need to check frequently to make sure it hasn’t accidentally switched off.
