I bought this product for my dad after he had tick-borne encephalitis, but unfortunately it did not work. Every time he returned from the forest, he had a tick on him. I do not recommend it.

TickLess Hunter Ultrasonic Tick Repeller - for hunters - Green
TickLess – ultrasonic tick protection is a small, portable gadget that emits ultrasonic waves at a 40 kHz frequency, which cannot be heard by humans and pets.
Ideal for forest hikes, gardening, fishing, camping, bushcraft, and any outdoor activities that pose a risk of tick exposure.
Ticks can transmit serious diseases like Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Utilizing the TickLess device helps lower the chances of bites, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
frequency 40 kHz, operating range, IP13 standard
Ticks utilize the Haller's organ on their first pair of legs to find hosts. The device emits ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz, which interfere with this organ's ability to receive stimuli. It has an effective range of about 2 meters.
Constructed with a durable plastic casing resistant to damage, the device is encased in green. Complying with the IP13 standard, it offers protection against solid objects larger than 50 mm and can withstand water spray at a 60-degree angle.
Device operation
The device is activated by removing the safety tab, followed by pressing the button. The start is indicated by four green LED flashes. Every 5 minutes during operation, a single green flash will appear. After 8 hours, the device will automatically turn off, but it can also be manually deactivated, confirmed by a long red flash.
TickLess should be attached to the outer layer of clothing to ensure the effective spread of ultrasonic waves. With a built-in clip, it can be secured to a belt, backpack, or other clothing items. The device lifespan is estimated to be about 3000 hours.
Safety and environmental protection
The model is environmentally friendly, does not release any chemicals, and is crafted for safe utilization. Offering no danger to pregnant women, children, the elderly, or individuals with pacemakers, it serves as a secure alternative to chemical repellents, which might trigger allergic reactions in certain instances.

It probably does its job because I haven’t had any ticks :)

Very good product, it's worth having a lanyard to hang it. I chose red for better visibility, because I lost my previous green one and couldn't find it.

An excellent choice for forest walks with your dog or for nighttime strolls in the woods.

I recommend this product. This is the second time I've bought it because I lost the first one. I often spend time in the forest, and since I've had this product, I haven't had any problems with ticks. I recommend it to everyone.

The repellent works very effectively. You can safely run and walk in the woods and bushes.

Pros: the device really does its job, because although I have had contact with ticks several times, none have bitten me. Cons: the clip is stiff and easy to attach to a strap, but harder to attach to a thick belt or pocket. Additionally, the on/off button is sensitive, especially when the device is hanging—you have to check often to make sure it hasn't turned off accidentally.
